“There was no office. You had to look around the property to find your name on a door. Our room did not look anything like the pictures on the website. The counter had a microwave and coffee maker that were dusty. There were two cups, two wine glasses, two plates, and a spoon. All were dusty and dirty. There was a tiny shelf on one side of the bed, nowhere to put your suitcase, no bedside lamps, just the overhead. The air conditioner had all the labeling worn off, so you had to guess how to set...

“What an amazing place! Got a tip from a local to take a short drive up the Mount Whitney portal and I highly recommend everyone do the same. The views from the room are AMAZING! Waking up to the sunrise on the mountains was something I'll never forget. Communication was fast and very helpful. Highly HIGHLY recommend staying here.”

Avessimo saputo che c'era un materasso gonfiabile non avremmo mai prenotato. Nella descrizione della casa non è mai stato scritto, parlava solo di 4 posti letto. Oltretutto per il prezzo che abbiamo pagato ci aspettavamo quanto meno un divano letto”

“Bears Eye View was a great and unique experience that gave us our own cozy house while visiting Sequoia National Park. There is a general store almost right across the street and the house has a full kitchen with silverware and dishes, so making your own food is easy. Heat and aire is modern and keeps the place perfect temperature in hot or cold weather… and this place is only a 17 minute drive from the entrance to Sequoia national park. Really enjoyed our stay here.”

“Property is exactly as advertised. Worked well for our family - close to national parks and a nice small town only minutes away. Our kids loved the very friendly dogs and horses nearby. Kitchen was well stocked and the washer and dryer were something we needed for our road trip. Happy with our stay.”

“Mark’s place was clean and beautiful. We only stayed 1 night then moved on to Yosemite. I wish we had booked his place for 2 nights. Beds were super comfy, View was beautiful. Mark was very responsive. 5 stars!! Would def come back again if out this way!”

“The property was very clean, inviting, and spacious. It is conveniently close to the village market but yet the property was very private. The home had the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. There are several animals freely roaming in the property such as turkeys, quails and a deer. The host and the property contact person were very responsive to us and was easy to reach. We highly recommend this property and will be renting it again on our next Sequoia trip.”
