Owner was great with driving instructions which were very helpful as the place is off a main road and a little hard to spot in the dark. And boy, is it DARK! “In the Oaks was a perfect location for us to be just outside the park and accessible to stores and restaurants. Mark the property mgr was very attentive and replied quickly to any inquiry. We would love to stay here again! Beds were comfortable, house was clean, basic needs provided, kitchen was well appointed and views and the grounds are great. We had a few deer that kept visiting us in the morning. I’m sure wanting scraps but we loved just watching roam around. ”

“This is a country home, pure and simple- it’s an hour away from groceries and there’s stuff in the yard. But that’s the magic of this place…quiet, surrounded by nature (including Forest Service- and National parkland, bright stars, and a great place to throw a log in the stove and hang. The kitchen is well equipped (induction stove if you’re bringing an extra large pot for example), and the host was responsive and friendly. We’d definitely stay there again.”
