“Having visited in the 4th week of April 2025, it was a vibrant spring floral experience at the Island Park Garden. The villa is on a hill and from the balcony it is over-looking the pine trees and the bay. We loved the peaceful and idyllic atmosphere. The Japanese dinner and breakfast was delicious and the friendly and courteous staff-they were able to converse in simple English made our stay memorable. ”

“Getting to the apartment initally was a bit of a trek. It's a 15 minute walk to the nearest subway station but only 6 minutes to the bus. It was a great place away from the main city to explore and enjoy fukuoka. Walking distance to Ohori park, paypay stadium, and teamlab forest with more than a few covenience stores and small grocery stores nearby. The apartment was on the 3rd floor in a quiet neighborhood. It was adjacent to a school and that could create some noise but it was infrequent and...
“This is a great place for a budget stay! The standard bedroom felt a little tiny even as a solo traveler, so I would recommend going for the double if you are traveling as a duo or feel you need more space.
The Japanese breakfast is very much what it says on the card—if you're a foreigner and can't read hiragana/katakana, you might not recognize much beyond eggs/rice/pastries.
The front desk staff were very receptive and kind! All in all I very much enjoyed my stay, especially with Tojinmachi...
“I throughly enjoyed staying at this apartment. The room was big and airy and most importantly clean. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. And the apartment is only a 5 min walk to the nearest train station so it's a perfect place to stay at if you're planning on exploring the nearby beach islands.
