“Det finns absolut inget att klaga på. Fantastiskt stora rum. Lyxigt med både en dusch och ett badkar. Det finns gratis buss från hotellet till tunnelbanan vilket var väldigt bekvämt. Jättetrevlig personal. Det här är bland det finaste hotell jag bott på. Jag trivdes jättebra och hade lätt bokat det igen skulle jag komma tillbaka till Kyoto. ”

“The room was beautiful, a bit old style in terms of tech but it was overshadowed by the traditional interior. It’s a small place, only 8 rooms, however we met 6 persons in charge during our 24 hour stay. It did make it a bit awkward because some of them were super friendly, whereas others didn’t keep up. In essence, it’s worth the money but not sure if I’ll stay there again due to the location being far away from the center. ”

“Wonderful place to stay, we loved that the area was in a real neighborhood and not touristy. The only complaint is the main bedroom faces a an alley that has a motion activated light that shines bright on and off all night while you are trying to sleep. Dark shade would help this situation. ”

“Everything was fine. However we aren't used to small spaces before. And while staying in the room we felt a bit cramped. Although we knew about this in advance-we had read about small spaces in Japanese hotels in magazine before our trip to Japan. One the other hand, we loved traditional atmosphere.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Rinn Shiki Juraku. The rooms were clean and very beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. The staff was friendly and accommodating, particularly Riku who helped us fix a malfunctioning AC unit in our room. Overall it was an incredibly lovely experience and we would definitely come back.”

“The check in was easy and the reception staff was helpful and accommodating they even provided a shuttle for us and our luggage to the hotel as it is in a different location. They will even hold your luggage if check in is not ready. Hotel room was nice and clean and a bus stop was right outside. Highly recommend!!! ”

“This was the perfect place to stay in Kyoto. There was the cutest bakery three doors down that had the best pastry and bread. Close to convenience stores and a grocery store. Close to bus stops and the castle! The location can’t be beat. The space was clean and spacious. Although I would suggest that the space is more conducive to those not worried about privacy and noise as the space is quite open. Overall I give this place a 10 out of 10! ”

“We loved our stay at this hotel. An amazing authentic atsmofear with a public bath with a view over the mountains and a great Japanese breakfast. Nearby you have temples that you easily can get to via bus. We got recommended a great yakitori restaurant not far (with a cab) from the hotel. Our stay in Kyoto would not been the same without this hotel. The service was perfect and the staff was so kind and helpful. “Bra hotell med ett helt ok läge för att utforska staden. Spa avdelningen var snygg men tillåter inte tatuerade människor, vet dock inte hur hårda dom är med den regeln. WiFi var knappt användbar, tappade uppkoppling hela tiden.”
