“Thank you Sara & Ian for opening up your coastal chic cottage, the Driftwood for us to enjoy. It was beautifully decorated, gorgeous gardens, had all the amenities we needed, and the location spectacular! The gazebo/terrace was perfect to watch the Sovereign’s Cup Race sailboats go in and out of the harbor while sipping our wine and the walk to downtown was only 10 minutes. We also enjoyed walking the Scilly trail a number of times. Thanks again! Beautiful memories made. M&M ”

“Online Coupley Court seemed like a colourful and unique place to stay at. In reality it was the opposite. Grey and dark. Literally dark since the lightning in both the room and kitchen was very bad and dim. You couldn't see a thing in the hallway mirror in the room since there was no light at all as you came in. The bathroom had dust falling into the shower cabin from the ventilation. The bed was so soft that I actually hurt my back by sitting down on it. The kitchen lacked most amenities and...

“Fantastic place to stay. The views were amazing. Very clean and comfortable. Each day a housekeeper came to empty bins and top up items. So unexpected service and was great. All amenities you need for a great stay. Town totally walkable with lovely shops and lots of history. Cathedral, heritage centre fantastic things to visit. Only negative was the stairs to the apartment but came away a lot fitter then when arrived ”

“I didn't realize this was a student dorm facility that apparently they rent out during the summer months. No air conditioning in the room and it was quite warm in there. "I stayed for one night only, during a business trip. I booked a room with a double bed, but was given a room with two single beds put together. I requested to change, explaining that I have a bad back, but was told that there were no rooms of that type available, and was told they can’t do much for me, when the correct thing to do is to offer an upgrade where there is a double bed. It’s absurd to have to sleep with two beds splitting up underneath one’s back when one books a room with a king/queen bed. I also requested to check out an hour later so I could go to the gym, given that my flight was late afternoon. I was abruptly told that they do not allow any late checkouts, despite the statement on the website of the hotel that informs guests that they always try to accommodate late checkouts, and guests should ask. I travel roughly 150 days a year for work and can say that the service at the Dean Cork is rude, unfriendly, abrasive and just overall lousy. Bed was cracking and springs could be felt. Cracks on tiles and walls and doors in the room. The Dean Cork is all “style” but no substance. "
