“Online Coupley Court seemed like a colourful and unique place to stay at. In reality it was the opposite. Grey and dark. Literally dark since the lightning in both the room and kitchen was very bad and dim. You couldn't see a thing in the hallway mirror in the room since there was no light at all as you came in. “The staff were less than helpful, There was no car parking anywhere near the hotel. It was student accommodation and not suitable for mature aged travellers. We chose not to stay here and found another motel.”

Access is via a very noisy shared stair case. First impressions on entering is a place which needs some upgrading and lacks furnishing - COSY it is not. “The host was unfriendly and hadn't turned heat on so was very cold. Kitchen and bathroom had no heat. Terrible shower and refrigerator was worthless owner told us a stick in the freezer. Even her son said this was a nuisance. I would stay at West Cork Hotel in Skiberean again never again at Rineen.”
