âThe hotel was probably very nice 100 years ago. It is still charming but in need of A total renovation. The hotel is old, worn and neglected, but unfortunately the rooms are also dirty. Cobwebs and dust. Torn sheets and flies in the bathroom. It smells more or less everywhere. Unfortunately there is a lot of seagulls that pooped down the windows and they have nests outside. âIt was just me and my son for an overnight stay. I hadn't paid for a sea view room and ended up with a large corner ensuite room with free tea/coffee,(Kettle). When we left the room the door wouldn't lock so went to reception to report it,in the meantime I went to get my car as I'd got a space in the hotel car park (very limited spaces ÂŁ6.00 for the night).Back at the hotel they gave us another room a sea view with no extra charge. âIts not the most stylish or modern of places to stay but it has a lovely feel to it. Staff are honest, i left my ear buds and they handed them in. The building is quirky but i was so relaxed with my kids cos there was nothing to break/damage. I could smoke on the balcony and no one cared. I will stay here again 100%â

âThis were lovely rooms (we booked two, as there was a group of four of us) and they were identical, except one had a shower, the other a bath. They were spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfy. Staff were very helpful, it is worth noting they don't serve food on Sundays but we were guided to a local pub within five minutes walk as an alternative. â

âQuick and easy check in and out. Very comfortable beds in a large clean room. Excellent parking and easy access to the town. White a bit of noise from outside but for the rates and everything else about the hotel this is a minor point. The rooms were quite dated but I knew this when booking and it also felt like a very minor point for the stay. Overall had an amazing stay!â
