Summary:

The whole group will enjoy effortless mountain access with both units, centrally located between Kirkwood Village and Timber Creek Ski Lifts. This spacious retreat features a main house with vaulted ceilings, a cozy fireplace, and a deck with breathtaking mountain views, ideal for entertaining. Enjoy the convenience of a private cottage just below off the lower deck with its own kitchen and patio. Ski to the bottom of the driveway via Home Run Trail, and a short 5-minute walk to the lifts.



The Space:

Perfectly positioned between chairlifts 7 & 9 at Timber Creek (5-minute walk) and chairlifts 5 & 6 at Kirkwood Village (10-minute walk), the home also offers a free shuttle pickup at the bottom of the driveway with service throughout the Kirkwood Base Area.



Cabin:

Two spacious master suites each feature a queen bed, twin bunk beds, Smart TV, full bathroom, and private balcony. The third bedroom offers expansive windows and stunning views, offering a queen bed, queen futon, Smart TV, Pac-Man arcade table (60 games), and board games. The main level includes an additional full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, Smart TV, and cozy fireplace. Step onto the upper deck to enjoy the gas grill and outdoor seating — perfect for après-ski evenings.



Caples Cottage:

Separate entrance located off the lower deck, offering added privacy and comfort. Features a second kitchen, bedroom with two queen beds, living area with two futons, two Smart TVs, and a Bluetooth speaker. Enjoy your own deck and grill for relaxing mountain evenings and morning coffee.



All TVs include Hulu (full cable package), Netflix and Disney+ already registered.

Sleeps 14 people in beds; 5 total queen beds and 4 single beds (2 sets of bunkbeds).

BR 1 - one queen, bunkbeds, en-suite bath

BR 3 - one queen (plus one queen futon)

BR 4/Cottage - two queens (plus two single futons in living space)

Parking:

Property is a corner unit in a culdesac. Parking for one vehicle in the garage, and one vehicle in front of garage under deck. Additional parking located along the private driveway. No parking is allowed in the culdesac, this area must be kept clear for emergency vehicles and snow removal during the winter season.



The Neighborhood:

Located in Kirkwood, this cabin is in the mountains. Kirkwood Mountain Resort and TC Express Ski Lift are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Eldorado National Forest. Discover the area's water adventures with kayaking and fishing nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with mountain climbing and mountain biking.

Getting Around:

During ski season there is a free shuttle that picks up at the bottom of the driveway with service throughout the Kirkwood Base Area. Additionally, the lifts are a short walk in either direction. Kirkwood Village and chairs 5 & 6 to the right (10 min walk), and Timber Creek Village and chairs 7 & 9 to the left (5 min walk).

We stand by our Cancellation Policy. Kirkwood is a mountain town and gets a large amount of snow during the winter season. Please be prepared to travel during inclement weather.
