“Easy check in process, and overall very clean place. Was pretty central and plenty of things to do as it’s only a 10 minute walk to Shinjuku. Very convenient if you are traveling to Japan with a larger party.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Pencil House over the new year period in Tokyo. The location is quiet and perfect as it is also convenient to get to anywhere with proximity to the metro station. The layout of the rooms was perfect as each of our preteens got their own space and the kitchen has everything needed in a compact space. Communication was very easy with the host and appreciated. Would consider staying again if we are back in the area ”

“If you’re with friends I would recommend for a group of 4. We had 6 people and 3 slept on a futon. The place was clean but some areas had film on the walls. About a 14 minute walk to nearest station.”

We weren't aware that the homeowners actually lived there, but they are very nice and can communicate easily via Google translate.
