Willow's House on the Outer Banks is located in the Nantucket Community in Duck. The Nantucket community offers an indoor community pool, tennis court, the best sound access in Duck, soundfront gazebo and pier that allow you to easily crab, fish, kayak or just bask in the sun and observe wildlife on the sound. A short walk to the ocean or sound and close to the Town of Duck for a variety of great local restaurants, shops and the soundfront boardwalk.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Great value

Really enjoyed our first vacation in OBX. The house had a great location, and was well appointed. We used the bikes to ride to the beach, village and boardwalk daily. House was spacious and clean. Highly recommend.

Perfect spot for small family and pet

We absolutely loved our stay here. The price was very reasonable for a mid summer place of this size in such a good location. We had everything we needed in this condo. Loved having the sound view sunsets. Walk to the beach wasn’t too bad. Unfortunately, I was oblivious and didn’t realize there were bikes to use in the garage until our last day. Lol. Karen was super responsive when I had questions the day of checkin. Really couldn’t be happier. Loved staying here and definitely would again!!!

Fun and Frolic All the Way

We were delighted at the overall condition of the condo. It was quite roomy for us 2 and our dog. We could have easily fit 2 more folks. It was convenient to town with a slight walk or bike ride. Would definitely repeat!
