“Check in was easy. But when we got to the room, the remote did not work. I reported it right away. No one came to check about it until 2 days later. Even then it was not fixed, with no explanation. Otherwise the stay was great.”

“Located on the southern side of Nags Head and right across from the beach with a shared boardwalk with another property they rent. Super easy to cross the road and be on the beach quickly. Also right across the street is the multi use path so perfect if you wanted to bring bikes or go for a walk. We did bike a few times down to the piers that were nearby. Was a very quiet area with the heart of nags head and kill devil hills close by as well. Many restaurants, shopping etc. The cottage itself...

“The place was very clean and was a great location. You can walk right to the beach and even to a few good restaurants. The host was very nice and checked on us. It is very intimate seeing as it is all one room but it was perfect for me and my husband. ”

“Jackie was an amazing host. She was responsive to questions about the island and things to do. She even had a few snacks waiting for us when we arrived late at night. It was such a comfortable and clean environment to relax and explore the Outer Banks for our first trip there. Would highly recommend staying here. Location was great, views of the marsh and ocean, and very comfortable setting.”

Great hotel on the beach

"This hotel is great! The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The hotel is VERY close to a more or less private part of the beach and there are showers at the bottom of the hotel, so you can clean yourself off before you get back in. The rooms are nice and reasonably sized and you are able to watch the sunset if your room faces the beach."
