“It was close to grocery stores, coffee, and restaurants. There was plenty of space for my family to relax. The hot tub was amazing since it was so cold there. The lighthouse noise/light was annoying, but the house more than made up for that.”

“Well appointed, spacious and clean. Easy drive to state and national parks. Beautiful wooded backyard with deck, fire pit and hot tub I booked through Expedia. Make sure you also have a VRBO app or account if you book through Expedia. That is how the property manager communicates check in procedure. She communicates check in info well in advance but through VRBO. Didn’t have the app or VRBO account so I had to contact VRBO customer service to get access instructions. “The house was wonderful! There was plenty of space (more bathrooms than listed!) for our group of 9, lots of fun activities, and it was in a great location to visit Crescent City, Orick, Eureka, Hiouchi, the redwoods, and the Smith River!”

“This cottage had everything we needed as a family of four! My son (12) loves to fish and we bought a 30 pole from Walmart... he spent every night fishing the creek behind the cabin. He caught trout back there which was exciting because we are from the midwest. We were also visiting to hike in the redwoods and Fern Canyon. Both were incredible and a short drive. We would absolutely stay here again... in fact this was our favorite place to stay of the entire trip. ”

“Beautiful house and garden. We had our 5 and 6 year old run laps to burn off extra energy. As a family of 5, inside was to small for my bunch, would be perfect for less amount of people.The boys enjoyed the variety of games and maze around property, and felt safe with locked gate.Please note, it is off a busy road and we were able to hear cars during our 2 nights there. This did not keep us up all hours...All in all, beautiful property and enjoyed the location.”
