“The heat system was horrible. It was so loud to have the heat on but soon after you turned it off the room became very cold. The floors were so cold you had to wear shoes inside. It was extremely drafty around both the door entrance and the balcony doors. There seemed to be little or no thought for being environmentally conscious at all which seemed very odd in a national park. For the high price we paid this was nothing more than an average motor motel. ”
“If it wasn’t for the noise levels we’d give 5 star. Everything was noisy. We ended up moving rooms which the team were very accommodating about despite how full the hotel was. We started in an interconnected room (non requested) which didn’t allow any soundproofing. We then moved to a similar standard ground floor room (not interconnected) which was much better. “Junior suite king w/fireplace room. It was conveniently located in town and had parking. The room was clean but very dated. Bedroom area and bathroom were very small. We had some challenges with the heat and strong odor from fireplace. Manager was understanding and eventually gave us % discount from our 2 night stay, but we didn’t have a comfortable stay. If you are sensitive to odors don’t choose a room with a fireplace.”
