“We‘ve stayed here for some days to explore Cork region. It was a little tiny for 4 persons but okay though as we haven‘t been home most of the time. Check-in and out was comfortable and easy. We do not have pets, but had the feeling to find a lot of hair though. Didn‘t have to contact anyone for help as everything worked well. ”

“We had a great few days catching up with our grandchildren and cousins being able to pick up where they left off last time. The house was perfect for us all.. my sons spent time exploring the local countryside and the children enjoyed finding new hiding places for hide and seek. Helen couldn’t have been more helpful. We enjoyed exploring in Tramore, Clonea beach and a small section of the greenway. Hoping to return sometime soon ”

“This place and the surrounding area are amazing in my opinion. I learned the hard way, but you deff need a car in this area. The towns all around are cute and have a nice old school charm. And Lismore castle and gardens are amazing. Just wish the lord and lady would allow tours of the castle.”

“Owner was in contact straight with a very extensive information package running to several pages. He also contacted us by TELEPHONE directly from the USA! The booklet emphasised the wooden floors (several times) as also he did (several times) which was a tad OTT (or maybe just tor us standoffish Brits). The irish contact however was really helpful and left the key in an agreed place for us. When we arrived, we were not quite sure which cottage was ours so a sign might be useful. Upon arrival...

“It's a nice little cottage and host/property manager were quite nice as well. We were there 5 days, and enjoyed our stay there a lot. It's a bit far from the sights and from a grocery store (minimum 30 min. drive, IIRC) so plan for that. Also, no wi-fi that we were able to figure out (we just watched stuff we had already downloaded, using an HDMI cable), but there was a television and laundry facilities, so that was great.”
