Truly relaxing. Not a lot to to do than take it easy which suited us perfectly. If you want to enjoy more action, rent a scooter for 300 THB and head out or take the shuttle / cab for 150 THB each. Nice simple restaurants along the beach (I-Taly) to enjoy thaifood with sunset

Vackert hotel!
Bodde fyra nätter i juli i en beach villa direkt på stranden. Villan var enorm med två stora rum och en stor trädgård med en pool. Rent och fräscht och trevlig inredning. Något hårda sängar, men sköna kuddar. Stranden framför hotellet är jättefin, dock inte så badvänlig på grund av korallreven. Stranden utanför hotellområdet är tyvärr också ganska skräpig så för vår del blev det mest bad i poolen. Jättefint poolområde med underbar trädgård. Vi åt de flesta måltider på hotellet och tyckte att kvalitén var lite varierande. Fräscht och vackert upplagt, men förvånande lite "thaismak". Bra utbud av viner och ett stort plus för rosévinet i minibaren som förgyllde våra kvällar då det är relativt långt till närmaste butik. Dock en hög prisnivå för att vara på Samui. Vänlig och trevlig personal och en hög servicenivå, allt fungerade perfekt, från hämtning på flygplatsen till in- och utcheckning. Hit kan vi absolut tänka oss att komma tillbaka!

Fint litet hotell med härlig utsikt.

Perfekt som bröllopsresa
Efter att vårt första besök på detta hotell var så otroligt lyckat bestämde vi oss för att åka hit på vår bröllopsresa. Vi var lite oroliga över att vårt första intryck skulle ändras nu när vi valde att spendera 1,5 vecka på samma hotel då vi tidigare endast hade bott 3 nätter på hotellet. Men jag måste nog säga att det var det bästa valet vi har gjort. Allt det vi kommer ihåg och tyckte var bra första gången vi bodde här var precis lika bra, om inte bättre, den här gången. All personal är verkligen jätte trevliga och serviceinriktade. Bartendrarna Neti och Phon har blandat jätte goda drinkar till oss hela vår besökstid. Dem kom även med flera tips på vart vi kunde åka för att få en riktigt bra upplevelse av ön som inte är för turistigt. Receptionisterna är jätte trevliga och redan första dagen visste alla vi träffade vilka vi var och att vi hade varit här tidigare. En av receptionisterna, Jaras, har även kört oss till flera av dem ställena Neti och Phon rekommenderade och berättade lite historia på resorna. Vi kan inte annat än säga att vi verkligen rekommenderar detta ställe till par som åker till Koh Samui för att njuta av varandra och lugnet som just det här stället ger en. Det ligger ganska avsides så man ska inte åka hit om man mer är ute efter att gå på stan och åka runt Koh Samui. Det är inte jätte dyrt att ta en taxi eller hotellets transfer [ca 600 thai baht till Lamai, 800 till Fishermans Village]. Priserna på hotellet är lite högre än om man jämför med Lamai

Lugnt & romantiskt hotell
Detta var vår första gång i Thailand och vi älskade hotellet. Det är ett lugnt och romantiskt hotell precis som vi var ute efter. Jätte bra service, underbara middagar på stranden bara för oss två, och härliga spa möjligheter. Inte allt för dyrt heller och lätt värt pengarna vi spenderade. Detta är ett perfekt hotell för par som vill slappna av och njuta. Det var vår första, men absolut inte vår sista resa hit.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel set on a gorgeous sandy beach. The gardens and pool are beautiful. It’s a very quiet relaxing place with very friendly, helpful staff. There are two kayaks and a paddleboard available free of charge. There is a hotel spa that offers massages on the beach and also a massage place on the beach next to the hotel. The hotel restaurant is very good. For more choice, the Intercontinental Hotel is next door and there are a couple of restaurants just a short walk along the beach.

Lovely boutique hotel with amazing sunsets
We have visited this hotel in the past but this was the first time we've stayed...and we will definitely be back! The hotel and setting is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful and even though we had one or two issues with our room they acted promptly and efficiently to put things right. We were also lucky to experience the best sunset we've ever seen...on the beach with cocktails in hand...what's not to like!

We stayed at Sunset Beach in September 2019, the so-called "Rainy Season". Our stay was absolutely perfect. First and foremost, it is on the quiet side of the island and away from all noise. If you are considering this over Chewang Beach, do not hesitate. This is a lush getaway - the cities are crowded parties. We were greeted with coconuts and we practically had the place to ourselves due to the down season. The property is immaculate, the service is perfect, the beach is nice and the water is warm. They arranged for a schooner to pick us up and take us snorkeling, as well as a scooter rental so we could zip around. It was our own personal Corona commercial - I wouldn't change a thing. No bugs at all, rooms clean, in a word - paradise. This is definitely a hidden treasure on Koh Samui. Only one single complaint: the food is too expensive. There is a very good beachside cafe about a 5 minute walk down the beach that is literally half the price of the resort restaurant. They were also sensitive to us dining off the property because it was the slow season. But the fact of the matter is that the food options nearby are just too cheap to ignore, and the beach cafe is every bit as picturesque and secluded as the resort. This is the single complaint. Do not hesitate to book here. You will not regret it. It will be your own personal paradise. Oh yeah and the massage was the best we had in the country.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft im ruhigen Südwesten der Insel. Kleine Anlage,toll begrünt, sehr schöner Pool, alles tipptopp sauber und gepflegt. Hatten eine Garden-Villa - stilvolle Einrichtung, schöner kleiner Garten dabei, Badezimmer unter freiem Himmel, alles sehr privat. Sehr zuvorgekommenes Personal, tolles Frühstück, das aber bei einem mehrwöchigen Aufenthalt an Vielfalt vermissen läßt. Strand in Ordnung, sauber, aber nur bedingt zum Schwimmen geeignet wegen Gezeiten. Ausreichend Liegen vorhanden. In Gehweite befinden sich einige Strandrestaurants, wir empfehlen sehr „The Island View“! Alles in allem eine stilvolle Unterkunft für Ruhesuchende und Gäste, die das ursprüngliche Koh Samui schätzen. Außer dem Intercontinental Hotel nebenan und besagten Restaurants gibt es in der Nähe nur ein Fischerdorf. Keine Bars, keine Shops. Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel, wir haben uns absolut wohl gefühlt.

Nous recherchions un séjour calme loin des plages bondées. Nous avons été satisfaits. L’inconvénient, c’est aussi qu’on est loin de tout ! L’hôtel est superbement designé, luxueux, confortable, avec un personnel attentif. Nous avions choisi un bungalow près de la piscine. Un must. Un seul bémol : le restaurant qui n’est pas à la hauteur, voire très moyen. Il y a heureusement un restaurant de plage à 200m. Pour le reste, un vrai paradis pour amoureux.

Sunset Beach Resort Taling Ngam
We used the Sunset Beach as a 'bed and breakfast' to enable us to attend a wedding at another hotel nearby. As such we did not make full use of the facilities. The location is excellent, right on a beautiful sandy beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was well prepared and fine for us though perhaps a little small for a beach resort. Would be happy to stay there again.

The Resort was a dream - the employees were charming and friendly. The rooms were even in the basic version perfect. The jacuzzi was fun. The breakfast was great. I recommend the Hotel wholeheartedly

A small (20 something entities) and quiet resort directly on the beach. Newly renovated. Exceptional service. Awesome spa with free sauna. Fitness studio with amazing view (some machines were out of order). Great food (more thai dishes would be good though) and breakfast. Prices are fully ok. All in all - highly recommendable!

It’s absolutely stunning! Staff was super friendly and helpful; rooms had beautiful views and awesome amenities. The pool is a beautiful green color and the art is superb. We will definitely be coming back!! It’s paradise! The beach is quiet and the steam room/sauna/plunge pool are the best free amenity offered. Do it! *The only downfall is transportation. It’s quite fat front everything on the island. They do offer motorbikes or to rent a car, but if it’s raining or if you are not comfortable driving on the opposite side of the road, these are not a doable options for you.

There are some very nice things but the overall experience for this hotel was disappointing. The A/C during the day doesn't work well. It reaches 30 degrees by 10 am in the garden villa room so it's not comfortable. The staff did try their best to accommodate. However i know they are aware of the issue as there are a few reviews that have stated the same problem.

Thank you so much for choosing our hotel. As we live on an island away from the mainland and the electricity supply that comes by cable from the mainland is unreliable to state the least. We do get power interruptions at times.It is through these interruptions that the A/C circuit boards are randomly being damaged. Booked so I could see a Samui sunset and got a whole lot more. What a stunning resort in a stunning location. The sunset wasn't too bad either. From first arrival to check out, everything was superb. The staff were attentive and professional with the friendly Thai style. Dinner, drinks and breakfast were all great. The 12 noon check out topped it all off. Great pool too.

Nice hotel !! Very quiet and peaceful place ! Staffs were very kind and friendly!! Unfortunately I hate bugs and there were so many bugs(ants, mosquitoes, escargot, flog...etc etc...) ....anyway if you like nature’s and quiet place then this hotel can be comfortable to stay!!!

The resort has one of the most stunning views of the sunset as it states in its name, the beach is beautiful and the staff are friendly and cater to your needs. For our last couples of days they had a special Thai night and the next day a noodle and pasta night and the chef made us various special meals as we are both vegan. The food is very flavourful and the chef is very kind and will make absolutely anything for you. Overall the trip was very relaxing and fun, I would definitely recommend :)

Nice hotel next to the beach
Lovely hotel on the beach. Very quiet and relaxed with great sunsets. Clean rooms and modern bathrooms. Would have loved to use the motorboat but with many things in Thailand was not working during our stay over New Year.

Fabulous hotel
The staff could not have been more friendly, helpful, diligent and professional. The hotel itself is stunning. Great location, beach access - and the restaurant food was outstanding. Rooms are a great size - and if you are lucky enough to be on the top floor - you will have lovely ocean views. The staff always ensured we were happy - and if asked anything of them - it was done immediately and with a smile on their face. Being in the travel industry myself - this will be my number 1 for all of my clients! Whether you are a family travelling together, couples, friends... It ticks all boxes. Especially for families - we had the interconnecting room - and it was no problem, no hassle - bedding was correct and everything was perfect from beginning to end.

サンセットは見れなかったが
9月末に、サンセットジャグジーデラックスに2泊しました。 滞在中はあいにくの天気で、サンセットは全く見れなかったのですが、それでもこのホテルには大変満足しました。 部屋は十分な広さがあり、写真で思っていたイメージよりモダンできれいでした。窓からは海が一望できて、ベッドに寝ていても水平線が見えます。バスタブのお湯も問題なく出ます。 プールは泳ぐのに十分な広さがありました。一番深いところは水深185cmもあって、ちょっと大人向けなところが良いですね。 ビーチへ続く小径が可愛らしく、みんなつい写真を撮ってしまうと思います。 ビーチとプールにあるデッキチェアは争奪戦になることなど無く、いつでも利用できます（まあ9月末だったせいか他に３～４組ぐらいしか宿泊客を見なかったのもあります）。 ビーチはチャウエンより汚れています。ビーチ沿いに行けるところまで散歩しましたが、ホテル前以外はさらにゴミだらけで、あまり楽しくありません。海も泳ぐ気持ちにはなれないレベルでした。見ている分には問題ないですが。 ホテルのスピードボートで行く、プライベートツアーをお願いしました。すぐそこのタン島への半日シュノーケルでしたが、これは良かったです。まあ一般のタン島ツアーと比べると倍以上の値段がしますが、プライベートなので自分たちのペースで行動できますし、島ビーチでのサンドイッチピクニックも楽しかったです。 私たちの滞在中はちょいちょい雨が降ったので、あわてて部屋に駆け込むことがあったのですが、天気さえ良ければ本当に一日中気持ちよくのんびり過ごせると思います。 なお、徒歩圏内にコンビニはありません。街レストランは出て左に5分ぐらい＆10分ぐらいのところにありますが、どちらも美味しかったです。 あとはホテル外だとインターコンチネンタルの探検ぐらいしかすることがありません。なお、エアバーに行きたいときはインターコンチに連絡すればこっちのホテルまでカートで迎えに来てくれると言ってました。

癒される場所 最高のサービス
毎年訪れているサムイ島ですが、西側に泊まったことがなかったので、来てみたしたがスタッフは皆さん親切でとても癒されました。 お部屋の掃除もキレイで、ベランダからの眺めが素晴らしく、夕陽が綺麗でした。 ビーチには無料のペットボトルがあり、プールやビーチベッドも混まないのでよかったです。 食べ物も美味しく、また来たいと思います。

本当に夕陽のきれいなホテル
賑やかな雰囲気が好きな人には物足りないかと思いますが、このホテルの周辺はとても静かでゆっくりと過ごせます。 ホテルのスタッフは皆フレンドリーで、こちらの状況を気にかけてくれている感じがしました。３泊しましたので夕食は ビーチとレストランとプールサイドと３ケ所でとりました。最終日前日の夕食は21：30からプールサイドでとりましたが、 遅い時間まで食事できたので助かりました。

ビーチ沿いの素敵なホテル
客室は海を臨む向きで、非常に開放感があり景色は素晴らしかったです。 従業員のおもてなしがとても良く、すれ違うときは皆さんから声をかけられて雰囲気の良いホテルでした。 同伴者が滞在中に誕生日を迎えた際には、朝食時にホテルからサプライズでケーキ（ホールサイズ！ろうそく付）を頂き、非常に驚きましたが、とても嬉しかったです。 食事も滞在中は3食頂きましたが、お味も良く、そして安い！このクオリティだと日本だと高いだろうな、、、というレベルです。 客室は必要最低限のアメニティのみ用意となりますが、ジャグジーバスはゆったり快適！清潔感ありました。（浴室に蟻がいますが、乾燥時はしょうがないのかな？） 何よりもホテルエントランスからプールに向かって海に出るまでの外装・ガーデニングの雰囲気にまとまりが合って、南国のホテルでゆったりのんびり過ごすのには最的なホテルです。 ホテルの周囲にはお店が何もないので、お籠りステイ向きです。

Excellent Hotel for the budget conscious.
Value for money when you pay $160 AUD/night to stay, but nothing more. Bed is rock hard and aircon inside failed to cool the room below 27 degrees celsius even being on 24hrs a a day. This was brought to the attention of staff on the first evening, whom just changed the setting to no avail. Breakfast buffet is very basic although the fresh omelettes were good (nothing on the Intercontinental next door however is 1/2 the price) On all 3 days we had the pool to ourselves which was great and use of the kayaks and stand-up paddle boards when ever we pleased. If you are looking for luxury, book the Intercontinental when it becomes on special.

Excellent getaway venue, albeit inconvenient to get into town. Clean rooms & reliable wifi. Friendly & helpful staff (Jaras & his colleagues) - went the extra mile to ensure breakfast was ready 15 minutes earlier on our last day to accommodate our early departure.
