30th Anniversary

Had a total blast for two weeks from having coffee on the Lanai in the morning to having cocktails in the evening watching the sunset, this place was perfect.

The only issue we had was the battery door lock. The issue was resolved in a timely manner. I would recommend the property and I will use Garden Island Rentals the next time we visit Kauai.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is clean and has everything you need for a fun stay. The bedrooms and the living room have A/C. I will stay here again. It is on the beach and the snorkeling is great. A sea turtle or two rested there every night. It was neat to see. The only change to the house I suggest is to change the windows by the door. It's a security thing. Also make it so the screens on the windows are not easily removed.

The home is beautifully decorated, recently updates with very comfortable beds snd linens. The kitchen has everything you need to have gourmet meals on you lanai!! The sounds of the ocean will lull you to sleep.A perfect fit for two couples or a family!!

Reviewer Comments: The property location was amazing the house was in good shape except for the furnishings the master bed room had a double bed and cheep sheets and blankets after two nights my back was killing me and I sleep on the couch the second bed room had single beds Just my option for the cost per night the house should have nice comfortable beds and for sure a king are Queen bed in the master.But over all the house was located on the beach and was amazing.the management company was very nice and checked up on us several times Thank you I will return with the Management company but will be looking for a better furnished bedroom.

We love the location and the home had everything we needed. Sitting on the lanai and looking at the ocean was heavenly. And the 2 turtles that came up on the beach each day were the icing on the cake! We did have some problems with the keypad for entry, perhaps it needs a new battery?

There wasn’t any waves. But it was the perfect house/beach with younger kids. Two turtles came on the shore every night. I liked how close it was to all of poipus amenities. All the cooking things you could want. Wish the master had a king bed. The queen felt small and it was kinda hard. But it was fine. Turn on sound machine at night so rosters don’t wake you so early

Perfect. Very comfortable and well appointed for the grandparents to relax and enjoy the view and escape to paradise.

Perfect weather, warm water, daily turtles on the beach...who could ask for more. Garden Isle was available and accommodating. We have absolutely nothing negative to say about our two week stay...other than the fact we had to leave...making plans to return next year..will probably need to move to the Stone House due to more folks coming with us. It is rare to find such a comfortable house in such a perfect location. Some times friends join us, sometimes family. We like to cook, read, do puzzles and take long walks each morning. Kauai climate, even the occasional showers and winds, is wonderful change from home in cold and snowy North Idaho.

Hale Moana, a great place to stay, management not so much

Reviewer Comments: Hale Moana was a perfect spot for our stay in Kauai. great location, literally steps from Baby Beach. nicely shaded with a nice breeze that kept the late July temps down. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, but there are a few things that need to be addressed. I called their office once before we left, and twice while we were there. I got the answering machine of someone named Charlee. Charlee doesn't return phone calls. We called the emergency number because the kitchen sink was backing up and the garbage disposal was not working. He had never heard of Charlee either, but he came right out and fixed it. Finally got ahold of someone to tell them the TV in the master did not work, the blinds in the second bedroom could not be raised, and the toaster would not toast. none of this was fixed while we were there. the master shower had heavy black mold spots on the tile, and the shower liners were all mildewed. Both bathrooms need a heavy cleaning, and one of the twin beds had holes in the sheets. All that aside, this is a great place to stay, nice and quiet, very comfortable, just needs a little TLC. And you can't be the views.
