We had a wonderful stay in Kauai and are so glad we chose this property. It is a very special beachfront house with a uniquely large and private yard. The views and ocean access are incredible, and we loved the convenient location.The house is well-built and thoughtfully designed, featuring numerous charming elements, including several patios, interesting artwork and gardens, and lovely lighting for the landscape and coastline. The kitchen, however, is very dated and was not pleasant to cook in – not what we would expect at this rental price point. In our opinion, it is well overdue for new cabinets, appliances, and lighting. The lack of air conditioning (other than in the primary bedroom) was also an issue during our stay, given the weather conditions with temperatures that never dropped below 72F. We utilized the fans and windows as much as possible, but the main rooms and second and third bedrooms were often uncomfortable.That said, we would be happy to stay there again – it would be hard to find another place that compares to the stunning location, unique features, and tranquility of this home. We hope that the owners will make the needed investments to maintain it as the first-class property it was designed to be.

Beautiful property with priceless view

Property has 3 buildings connected by covered walk ways. It is a one of a kind property that is nestled on the Pacific. The master has one building. The kitchen, living room, dining and laundry are in the main building. The other two bedrooms - one king and 2 twins - are in an other building. Only the master has AC. The other bedrooms have ceiling fans and stand alone rotating fans. The house is wonderfully equipped and the VRBO management extremely responsive! The bedroom linens are very high quality and are vey laundered. Unfortunately this massive beauty is showing her age. The washer and dryer need replacing. The top closing hinge is almost rusted through and had our clothes trap then we could n’t get the washer to start. Fortunately we were able to get it into the correct position to finish the rest of the laundry. There are places in the kitchen around the pull out trash that need touch up paint. The house could use a freshen up from the aging patio furniture cushions to the stoves.

Hawaiian paradise

This house is more beautiful than the photos… it is a breathtaking property and I highly recommend it. The air conditioning is in the master bedroom only. If you open all of the doors the other rooms are comfortable with fans.

One of a kind oceanfront estate

A truly unique house on unmatched oceanfront land. Enjoy the sounds of the crashing waves day and night, and the bellow of the Spouting Horn blowhole right next door. Each room of this house is a separate building, with covered connecting walkways. Access from the year to a beach with sea turtles every day (as many as seven at a time) and an occasional monk seal. We've stayed here two years in a row and have already booked for next year.

Stellar location but NO AIR CONDITIONING (except Master bedroom)

ADVANTAGES Endless private oceanfront Covered patios everywhere Seamless arrival and departure Spotless Responsive management company Wailani NEUTRAL Decor is dated but we'll maintained Kitchen and laundry well stocked - no shortage of paper towels, soaps etc DISADVANTAGES AC is ONLY in master bedroom - so master bathroom, main rooms, 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are hot at night, even with windows open and the breeze. No AC in kitchen means any produce outside fridge will spoil overnight. The property is advertised as "Air conditioning" but you have to read in the fine print to see it's only in the Master bedroom (not in master bathroom), and this was a very bad surprise on arrival. For the price it should include AC in the whole house.

BEST place to stay in Kauai!

Yes, it is worth it. We felt like we had the best home on the island. This property is BEYOND amazing. Huge and offering privacy and security. Indescribable views from every spot on property. The pool is cool and refreshing and the hot tub hot and relaxing. PRIVATE beach which we nicknamed Teal Beach for the combo of turtles and seals that showed up there to visit. We had three adult couples and this home could not have been better to exceed our needs. Also great location on island. We did not want to leave. Would definitely stay here again!
