The Best Beach Houses, Poipu Shores is a gem property perched overlooking the Pacific Ocean on a rocky cliff where you can view sealife year round from your private covered lanai. Enjoy endless views from our oceanfront pool. There are two gas grills, larger ocean front entertainment area for guests and comfy lounge furniture. We are named 'Premier Hosts' by VRBO, customer service is #1.

OCEANFRONT. Our premium second floor location has direct unobstructed ocean views is less than 50 yards from the pounding surf. Watch ocean life and spectacular sunsets from the private covered lanai. Year-round you will see turtles and dolphins - and during whale season the show is right in front of you.

LOCATION. The location is absolutely ideal. A short walk to Poipu Beach for sand and snorkel which has all the conveniences of a snack bar, showers and bathroom. Brennekes beach is for the experienced boogie boarders and body surfers. Just a few minutes easy, safe, sidewalk walk to the shops and restaurants at Poipu Shopping Village.

FLOOR PLAN. We are light filled upstairs unit with ocean views from nearly every room! There are two true master suites, both with bathrooms directly accessible from the sleeping area. Living room and master bedroom have super quiet, efficient air conditioning with individual controls. The setup is ideal for two couples or a family of up to 4. Lanai, Kitchen, Dining, Living, and master Bedroom all have spectacular ocean views.

AMENITIES. Our home is equipped with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your vacation. It is luxuriously appointed with high quality linens and towels. Kauai-made soaps, shampoos, and lotion are supplied. We have boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrella, and a cooler for your outings. For evenings in, we have HDTV smart TV's, games, books and binoculars for whale/turtle watching. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing any type of meal.

Poipu Shores is now a 'NO SMOKING' property both inside the unit and in the common areas.

Wonderful property, fully equipped kitchen and the beds were super comfortable. The lanai and the spectacular view of the ocean, was amazing. The location is an easy walk to several beaches and restaurants. The pool is directly on the ocean. We will be back!

Fantastic View and Location

We had a wonderful stay in Kauai! The condo is as described and was very clean throughout with the exception of mildew on the shower curtain and a mildew smell upon arrival. Cynthia said after we left this would be addressed. She stated it is due to people running the AC all the time and not on the dry mode. I do not believe we received any information regarding running the AC in dry mode. Otherwise, very pleasant stay.

A wonderful Kauai home

We spent a week in Cynthia’s beautiful condo and only wish we had booked for longer. So many things to praise. First, Cynthia is an awesome communicator throughout. And her online guide to the island is the best guide I’ve ever seen. The condo itself has superb views of the ocean and coastline. Inside, it’s very comfortable and is well furnished with everything in its logical place. It is quiet at night, the only sounds you will hear are the ocean waves. And the balcony is great for morning coffee and evening sunsets. Kauai is so beautiful and Cynthia’s place is the perfect base.

A little bit of paradise

We lucked out and found this VRBO in March and booked it as Christmas availability was limited. It had a phenomenal view, it was super quiet and easy access from the parking lot. The A/C was fantastic as it was quite warm while we were there - we were even a little chilly some nights and had to turn it off. The pool was a nice cool-spot for those hot days. Our vacation could not have been any better 3 Our stay was everything that was promised. We saw whales & turtles right from our lanais. The path to Poipu beach was wonderful & we enjoyed a puka dog while watching the turtles come ashore in the evening. It truly was a magical vacation, and one that my kids say was the best vacation ever!

Turtles, dolphins, friendly waves

Location was perfect, but with the view it was hard to leave the condo. We watched all the sea life as well as a breaching whale. Kitchen was appropriately equipped, beach items were all clean and good working order. We had a great stay and will be back!

Perfect location and stay

Great location - steps away from Poipu beach where sea turtles come and rest on the beach daily. Beautiful view - right in the water. Loved watching waves crashing, dolphins and turtles swimming right from our balcony. Star gazing at night. Condo was well stocked with everything you need. A perfect stay in Kauai!!!

Spectacular views

The property was very well equipped, down to beach chairs and umbrellas. Nice size, good layout. Cynthia was a dream as a host. Anytime we contacted her she immediately responded and helped. For example some error code came up on the oven and within thirty minutes she had someone at our door to take care of it. But, the view from the living room and the patio was remarkable. Waves crashing on the rocks, the white spray, the endless sea turtles, the dolphins all right in front of you. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Hawaiian paradise

This condo was absolutely incredible! The views are amazing! We sat on the balcony and just watched the waves roll in and the perfect sunsets. We saw so many turtles from the balcony and even some dolphins. Easy walk to the beach. The condo was extremely clean and had everything needed for the beach. The design is basically like 2 master suites since you can close the pocket door to the 2nd bathroom. Beds and furniture were all very comfortable. Parking was always easily available. Can’t wait to go back someday! Definitely were spoiled by this place!

Birthday in Kauai

Hi, Your condo was so beautiful and well appointed, we were so pleased to call it home for our first visit to Kauai. Those crashing waves made us so happy! The coffee and cookies were a delicious welcome! We were pleased to discover how well stocked the kitchen was with supplies. Made it is so nice to not have to purchase the baggies, paper towels, etc. We did wonder about the bathroom fan not working, but Scott said to not bother you about it, not a big deal!? The only thing we were missing was a pen by the phone (once again, no biggie) I was missing a bedside clock, since we had turned off our phones to avoid getting calls/ texts from home ( 3 hour difference!). I’m just one of those people who gets up in the night and wonders what time it is, haha. Thank you for sharing your wonderful condo with us! It was a memorable birthday experience! Warm regards!

Luxurious

I don’t usually leave a review, but this condo was above and beyond what I expected, so I just had to! This is our third trip to Kauai, 5th trip to Hawaii. Communication with Cynthia was always easy and fast. I appreciate her responding quickly, even to let me know where she bought her beautiful coffee cups. The kitchen was amazing; we cooked most of our meals there. It had every possible gadget you could think of, her cookware was nicer than what I had at home, and I loved all of the glassware, from champagne glasses to freezer beer mugs. Towels were abundant, including hair twists and Turkish beach towels. I enjoyed the lovely Hawaiian Bath products. There were Beach chairs, coolers, boogey boards and pool toys, everything you could ask for. Finally, the view was amazing! We watched turtles, dolphins, and whales from the balcony. This truly was one of the best beach houses we have stayed in.

Amazing View and Near Perfect Place

The unit is an amazing location. Close to family friendly beaches. Spectacular view where you can fall asleep by moonlight and with the sounds of the ocean. This unit has almost everything you need for a great holiday. We especially appreciated the supplied toiletries, beach gear and well stocked kitchen with everything you need to make a delicious family meal. My only possible negative thing would be the small parking spots making it hard to park sometimes but we always found a spot in the complex. Overall, highly highly recommend this beautiful unit. We had a wonderful holiday thanks in large part to this great apartment.

Always Excellent

This was our second two week stay in PS 205A in the past nine months. If it was up to me, I’d stay at this property for many more vacations. The idea of repeated stays at the same property, is foreign to us. We kind of like to mix it up. It’s just so relaxing there. The owners have provided everything we need to have a glorious beach trip. The constant sound of the surf crashing on the rocks. It is easy to get around the island. I could go on and on with praise. Just an amazing property.

Beautiful sea and sky

We had a wonderful time at this clean and very comfortable oceanfront condo. Every detail was thought of ahead of time. Extremely well organized information. The property manager Cynthia was excellent! She responded immediately to a minor problem and had the maintenance man Jeff there promptly. The condo is right on the ocean so we we spent most of our time enjoying the view of the crashing waves, the clouds in the clear blue skies and evening sunsets from the balcony. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the furniture and the bed was. I highly recommend this home.

Heaven on Kauai

Honestly the best place to vacation! I hate to even tell people about this beautiful secret because I love coming back! The property is well kept, great location, and the sunsets are fantastic! Nice place. Fantastic location.

We loved the place and would definitely consider booking again. What we liked: - Location, location, location. Proximity to nice beaches and the balcony views were amazing. - The pool - it's humble, but nice to jump in after a long day - Information book - a lot of great information about things to do and recommendations for food and various activities - Convenient stuff available - little things like boogie boards, backup sunscreen, etc. What we didn't: - The windows don't close completely and there can be noise from people outside at night - Parking - the spaces are limited and very tight - Ice maker was super slow to refill and easy to accidentally shut off. It would be great to have some ice trays as backup

Very pleased!

This is a very clean and well-appointed condo. The view was amazing, right on the ocean! We watched whales while we ate breakfast on the deck and from the pool we watched sea turtles below, for hours. We loved the well-appointed kitchen which was well-stocked. The washer/dryer was so handy and this unit is air conditioned. It's only a 7-minute walk the beach, restaurants and hiking trails. Perfect!!
