“My two teen kids and I LOVED this place. It is beautiful and has a ton of character, we were so sad we o Lu got to stay for one night and really hope we can return someday. Hosts are exceptionally kind and interesting people, don’t miss a chance to chat with them a bit. I stayed at six places on my trip and this was definitely my favorite. Location is great too for walking into Kona town or getting to most other places n the island.”

“Michael and Judy were consummate hosts! The room was as pictured and came with home-y touches including towels, beach chairs, and bags for the beach. “Overall great experience. Easy check in and good communication with property management. The bathroom is in need of updating, one set of faucets didn’t work and the shower head shoots water out the door. We couldn’t get the ceiling fan to work but didn’t really need it. The vertical blinds were not operational so we just left them open the whole time. We would stay here again!”

“It was right across the street from the ocean with a view of the waves from the patio. Within walking distance of anything you may need and the room itself had all the equipment for a fun day at the beach. Check in is at the Kona Islander Hotel lobby and you get the parking permit and directions to the parking lot after that. The room is a bit small for 4 adults/teens but it was doable without any issue. Definitely recommend it.”

“The pool really is just steps away. The condo complex seems mostly populated by retired people. The condo itself was a bit overstuffed with furniture and tchotchkes but was clean with a very functional kitchen.”

“Very nice unit with a nice view of the pool. As other people has stated parking is challenging. But I always found a place in the lot or right next to the property on the street. The bed is comfortable and I slept well. Minor issue with some small ants in the bathroom.owner was very responsive. I would definitely stay here again.”

Great ocean view, great place
"We were two 50+couples staying for five days. We really enjoyed the clean and cosy house. The lanai was right by the ocean and the kitchen was very well equipped for home-cooking. We also used one of the grills. Close to shopping groceries and also a few restaurants in the shopping center. Walking distance to a great snorkelling place (look for low surf/low tide if you have small children). Air conditioning in both floors worked very well, except for a bit ”mouldy” smell in one of the bedrooms, but that will be taken care of, according to the owner. Would be happy to stay there again in the future."
