“After a couple of years of health issues and a ling school year this was the perfect place to chill. Out in the country ,but close enough for shopping, Granbury Opera House to see Newsies, dinner and of course shopping. Perfect for lazy mornings and afternoon naps. I want to come back and bring our basset to roam the property.”

Wooded property makes for private enjoyment - hosts provides for numerous outdoor activities with games, swings, & outdoor tables at nice outdoor sites, as well as hiking paths to enjoy and canoeing on the lake was superb! A great opportunity when a respite is sorely needed!”

“Very clean, decorations were darling and quite appropriate for the cabin’s rustic theme. The owner had many things available that weren’t things you would expect. The sheets were SO nice and soft. Also there were reading materials that were interesting. I was able to bring my papillon dog, which put the icing on the cake! And he was the family I brought with me.”

“Really liked staying here! Beds very comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms stocked with essentials. Property is wooded and peaceful. One suggestion though - please put window coverings in bedrooms and front room.”

“We had such a wonderful time! The property was great - even better than the pictures. Keith (owner) mentioned that we only needed to bring food and drink, and that was true; everything else was provided, e.g., well-stocked kitchen items, soap, shampoo, paper products, etc. We had a very restful time, relaxing on the deck and in the hot tub. Arrival and departure were so simple. We have already recommended this property to friends.”

“It was a wonderful getaway for my spouse and grandchildren . We all had an amazing time in the pool and Jacuzzi . The peace and quite away from the city you can’t beat that and you get to enjoy all the wonderful farm animals.”

“This property is AMAZING!!! In town but you feel completely secluded, and the longhorns are a great touch! We loved the peacefulness of the swing in the back yard and the rustic elegance of the cabin! The tub in the outhouse is a GREAT touch as well as the amazing walk-in shower and bathroom that is built on to the back porch. We will definitely be visiting again this fall! 10/10 Recommend!!”

“Positive: there was more than enough towels. The A/C was on so it was nice to get in after a long drive. No smells on anything. Pillows were super clean. Nice shade to park the truck. Close to everything. There was coffee, filters, sugar, salt and pepper. Negative: bed sheets were really old and cheap polyester. There was cockroach poop in the dirty microwave (I didn’t see poop or roach signs anywhere else). The floor was sticky (could be the kind of cleaner used). The shower tub thing needs to...
