Tranquil place on Korcula island
Villa Castello is a well-equipped and well-managed place. It is great for families who would like to have a good base on Korcula island as it is tranquil but still close by a nice bay. However, there is not much going on here so enjoy the scenery and have a good time.

Lägenhet lite utanför Korcula
Riktigt bra lägenhet med härlig balkong. Rent och fräscht. Ingen speciell reception, som man behövde passera för att komma till lägenheten. Därmed hade vi väldigt lite kontakt med personalen. Ligger utanför Korcula, går tydligen buss några gånger per dag, men vi använde vår bil. Lite synd att det inte var gångavstånd, vilket vi trodde, när vi bokade. Men med bil fungerar det utmärkt. Privat kostnadsfri parkering precis utanför lägenheten.

Clean and good service
We loved our stay in Villa Costello. Owned by a family that was so friendly. It is not near the Old town unfortunatley. We had to take a taxi every day. But the area was quiet and nice. The room was very clean, friendly staff, but their english is not so good, but they helped us with everything, good breakfast, good food and wine, nice pool, close to the beach. The only bad thing is that we had to pay cash when we checked out. This information was not given when we booked. We loved it and will defenetly go back!

It was a great stay beaches and grocery store walking distance food at restaurant was very good and there own wine was great. The only negative is a very steep drive way to upper parking but it made it much easier to unload bags

Apartment with beautiful view of the sea

Het onthaal was niet bijzonder. De kamer was klein met een keukentje. Het zwembad was absoluut niet proper. Het eten was ook niet veel. Wel ideeal om enkele baaitjes te bezoeken. 82 trappen alvorens je het onthaal kan bereiken dus je moet al goed te been zijn. De zee was prachtig maar wij gaan hier niet meer terug. De fotootjes op de site zijn eigenlijk in het echt niet zo als op de foto.

We really enjoyed our stay with Castellos in Korcula. His villa was not full because we came in late Sep. so we were given a better unit then what we paid for...nice gesture. We had some problem finding his place, because our GPS didn't find the correct location of his villa, but once we found it, everything was great. The only thing less then perfect was the fact that they drained their swimming pool, so we were unable to use it. Also they were supposed to have a restaurant on premises, but again they closed for the season just before we arrived. But we enjoyed our stay there and would come back.

Très belle situation
Situation idéale : appartement le plus haut (n°5), avec accès parking direct, 2eme piscine à 5m de la chambre avec grande terrasse et bains de soleil. Vue exceptionnelle. Appartement neuf tout équipe sauf au niveau vaisselle où il manque quelques ustensiles pour pouvoir cuisiner en autonomie. Grande literie (180x200) mais moyennement confortable. 2 salles de bains indépendantes.

A nice room but overall not a good location
This is a set of apartments on a steep slope close to a quiet bay with private villas and apartments. We had a nice room, but a lot of steps up to the bar and down to the road. Staff young and a bit inexperianced. The plunge pools are too small for adults and too deep for children.

Located 10 minutes drive from Korcula old town. Very nice facility. Parking at the bottom of the stairs quite long) with another one higher up. Room was very comfortable and clean.

Rooms are arranged in rows of several rooms per level (4 in our case). It should be very nice for a party needing a complete row of rooms, for a long stay.

Great stay for a very good price
Large and spacious room. I went during the Easter period so it wasn't yet the main season so the attached restaurant and pool was not operational, however I'm pretty sure this would not be the case in the summer period. You probably need a car to get around as its about 5-7 min from the walled Old Town, but it offers great views of the sunset behind the hills from your deck and a different option from staying within the walled town or in a large resort on a beach. The kitchenette was fully equipped as well!

Pretty location with 2 nearby gorgeous bays.
Nice hotel close located in between 2 gorgeous bays, ideal for chilled out swimming and snorkelling. Apartment adequate though could do with a facelift in some places. Staff friendly and helpful. Korcula town Ok to walk too but along roads...so a taxi/car needed to return when dark at night. Would hire a car if I went again to explore the island. Korcula town is a gem.

Scoprire Villa Castello è stata una bellissima sorpresa. Dovevamo fermarci due giorni e invece siamo rimasti il doppio sia per esplorare le bellezze dell'isola di Curzola sia per assaporare le pietanze proposteci dal ristorante di Villa Castello. Ottimo il vino prodotto direttamente da loro.

Nice little new country hotel
Country hotel just outside of Korcula, free parking close to the room (14 stairs). Comfortable with minimal cooking, enough for us and our continental breakfasts.

Très surpris car nous avons été logés chez l'habitant (voisin) et non dans la structure de l'hôtel, de plus dans 2 appartements situés sur le même palier car nous étions 5 personnes (2 adultes + 3 enfants) alors que cela n'était pas du tout annoncé.

prima appartementen met lekker zwembadje.
De apartementen bevinden zich in een gebouw wat tegen een steile helling oploopt en zijn door de trappen ongeschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn. Het zeezicht bestaat uit een klein blauw hoekje dat je kan zien. Het appartement dat wij hadden was verder prima. voorzieningen voldoende en het zwembad ondanks zijn beperkte maat door de diepte zeer aangenaam. Prijs kwaliteitverhouding is prima.

A really nice retreat
We only had a short stay here, however we really enjoyed it. Both pool areas were really nice and relaxing, the rooms were really comfortable and the food, drinks and service were all fantastic. They even arranged out pick up and trip back to the marina which was really helpful so we couldn't have asked for more.

Fint og rom leilighetshotell i fredlige omgivelser
Store leilighet på hyggelig leilighetshotell. 2 vennepar med barn, fikk rom i forskjellig etasje. Vi var ikke så heldig med utsikten, men fin og romslig leilighet. Venneparet hadde flott utsikt fra 2 verandaer. Rolig og fredelig område, 2 restauranter i nærheten og nærbutikk. Er nok en fordel med bil, men vi reiste uten. Hotellet hadde voksensykler vi kunne låne og lite basseng. Taxi til Korcula kostet 80 kuna og til flott strand i Lumbarda ca 120 kuna. Gikk også taxibåt fra havna. Det var ingen rengjøring av rom i løpet av uken vi bodde der, men nok av håndduker.

Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig. Der Standard der Zimmer / Apartments ist für den Preis gut, es gibt zwei Aussenpools in der Anlage. Sehr faires Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Idylliske dager.
Opphold i juni. Svært rolige omgivelser. Familien som drev stedet var trivelige og imøtekommende. Fullt utstyrt leilighet, helt greit. Lite basseng som var fint å kjøle seg ned i. En fin bukt med badeplass 200 m unna. Topp sted for et rolig opphold. Bil er en nødvendighet! Kan muligens bli trangt her i toppsesong.

Clean and well run
This hotel was clean and well run with the staff being helpful in organise transport to other places. This place is out of town by about 3-4 kms and the buses and come every few hours so you may have to use a taxi which is around 80-100 kuna. The rooms were of a good size with views onto the mountains and lakes in which it is only a short walk to enjoy the water. The internet (wifi) was a little slow and did not reach the inside of rooms so you had to sit on balcony. We tried the restaurant food the first night and was really disappointed as it was overcooked and with little flavour. However if you head into town there are many great restaurants.

Appartement très bien équipé & propre avec tous les équipements nécessaires pour cuisiner ou laver le linge. terrasse privative. belle vue. 2 parkings, mais il faut monter des escaliers. My brief one-night stay there was fine. Having a rental car surely helps you get to and from Korcula town. Finding it was not a problem, as there are signs to guide you. Villa Castello has their own restaurant, and the quality of the prepared food there is quite good. So if you are tired after cleaning up after a long day sightseeing, their restaurant will do just fine. Pls remember the staff does not open for business before 8:30 am, so if you need to settle any bills, do so the night before. Otherwise, you will be pacing the floor wondering if the staff will ever get there.
