Cheep rooms in the basement
The Palace Hotel is in the centre of Kota Kinabalu located on a hill next to a shopping centre. We stayed in one of the "rooms without windows" in the basement. It sounds worse than what it is. Half of the rooms actually have got windows - just no view since you are looking in to a concrete wall. Room was big and the bed was ok. The room was very basic thou and needs a bit of refurbishment.

Helt okay boende
Lite långt från centrum, men man går på 10-15 minuter. Hotellet har shuttle buss 4 gånger om dan med upphämtning. Köpcentrum ett par minuter ifrån hotellet.

We came back for another night before leaving Borneo, just because we liked it so much! The Palace made our stay at Borneo a treat!

Nice!
Excellent hotel, nice gym and pool area and also a cool little jungle experience right next to the hotel. The hotel is close to the city and shopping but still secluded. Wifi is ok in the room.

Best hotel to start the year 2024! The service was great. The staff were super polite and friendly. The room was vast and I added with a rollaway bed without any issues - still very spacious. There’s free breakfast too. Near shopping complex just this one focused more on electronic products. Not something tourists will want to buy. Haha. Overall, I will stay in this hotel again. ❤️

Breakfast buffet items get changed every few days or so, that way it's not always the same food to pick from, which is nice. We had a minor issue with our room and the hotel offered us a different room late one night. Very good hospitality!

Great place to stay in Kota Kinabalu
Great place to stay with nice pool and good breakfast. Bell sound of the elevator in the hall close to our room was the only thing up for improvement.

Good value for money. Property is being renovated but you do not hear any loud noises. Staff are friendly. Nice natural surroundings.

Very clean. Excellent staff service and very polite attentive staff. Excellent breakfast. Environmentally attentive. All at an excellent price range. Highly recommended and will stay there again whenever I am in that area.

Only spent one night but I found this hotel very good. They wanted to upgrade us to their best room, but gave a weird look when we requested twin beds. That gave me a chuckle. This hotel would be one of my top choices to stay.

숙박장소에 개의치않는 여행 동행자가 우겨서 예약을 하긴 했지만 진짜 최악의 방 일단 제가 숙박한 방은 지하였는데 에어컨을 완전 추울 정도로 틀지 않으면 냄새 때문에 잠을 잘 수가 없었구요. 공사를 하는지 아침에는 소음때문에 자동 기상했어요 방에서는 와이파이 터지지도 않고 심지어 캐리어 쌀때 큰 바퀴벌레가 나왔는데 늦게 여자직원 두명이 빗자루와 쓰레받이 들고 와서 제 가방과 짐 발로 차면서 웃으면서 잡은 후에 미안하다는 말도 없이 나갔습니다. 체크아웃하는 날 캐리어와 백팩을 맡겼는데 직원 실수로 바닥에 내동댕이... 아무도 떨어진 가방을 줍거나 캐리어를 세울 생각을 안해서 제가 화가 나서 쳐다보니 역시 미안하다는 말도 없이 괜찮다고 하더군요 뭐가 괜찮다는건지.... 코타키나발루에 호텔은 저렴하니 첫날 늦게 도착하셔도 괜찮은 호텔로 가세요 ㅜㅜ

酒店比较舊,保養得好價格平,但設施齊全,员工服务挺好。 自助餐選擇种類好多,食品質数OK, 以此價格实际上有点超值,合适—家大细去玩。

묵었던 방이 옆방과 벽사이에 서로 오고갈 수있는 문이 있었다. 지금은 잠겨있었는데 옆방에서 나는 모든 소리,심지어는 코고는 소리 등, 때문에 숙면에 매우 방해되었다. 빠른 조치가 필요해보인다. 그외는 서비스, 직원친절도,청결도,위치 모두만족한다.

Check in day was not bad. Waited 10mins after arrival due to room was not ready although time checked in is 2pm. Breakfast next day was amazing - lots to our liking. But 2nd and 3rd breakfast was not so much. Room was not so big but considered okay. Pls bring own usb charger too. Found blood stained on one of pillow sheet they need to check for these kind of details. Car parking is available. Swimming pool looks clean viewed from dining hall balcony which is a floor apart. Hotel is not too far from major shopping area for commute by car. Receptionist and bar tenders was very friendly. Overall our stay and the place was not bad. Would recomend anyone anyway.

시내까지 그랩 5링깃 헬스장 작은 수영장 만족합니다. 하지만 창 없는 방은 피해주세요. 공항 가기전 창 없는방에 수영장에서 놀다 샤워하고 나오기 좋아요.
