The staff met us at the train station with cold water and lavender-scented oshibori towels in the shuttle, setting the tone for a thoughtful and relaxing stay. âItâs a very nice, Japanese style hotel. We had plenty of space (unlike other Japanese hotels). The hotel has a decent onsen as well. They also provide Japanese breakfast (ok, mot great) and Keiseki dinner. Very close to the lake, yet a bit far from the crowds of tourists. Not many dining options around (we ended up with take-out ine night). Overall, a nice and convenient hotel.â
