“The villa was so tranquil and clean. It was the best start to my trip. The hotel has limited rooms so it creates an intimacy and level of privacy I haven’t experienced elsewhere. The pool is beautiful and was the perfect temperature. The staff are beyond amazing and helpful - they made the say that much better! The restaurant has some amazing dishes to try! ”

“Mysigt familjehotell med bra pool och område. Kändes lite med en handduk. Skulle vilja ha en till ansikte också och även för golv. Saknade belysning för båda sängarna. Men väl värt oengarna. ”

“It was a very nice stay. Simple arrangement yet comfortable (especially big comfy bed). Possible to get good food, order taxis, organise a trek to Batur volcano, hot springs. Basically right at the starting point for the trek to Batur. Nice people too!”

“This is a family-owned place and the pride of ownership shows. It is spotless, as they are constantly cleaning. Nothing is too much to ask and they will organize whatever you want (such as snorkeling trips, cars, etc). They will do laundry for you at $6 per load. Massages were amazing at $12 per hour. Their chef is just spectacular (lots of people from other resorts were coming to eat) and she will give you a private cooking class at $25 per person, which includes your meal. “The hotel is about an 8 minuite walk from the center of Ubud. The hotel is very quiet at night which is nice after walking the streets and restaurants and shops in the centre of town. You can relax and the staff are EXTREMELY helpful and cater for all your needs. They use WhatsApp so you can order your breakfast to your room every day and sit on the porch in front of the small pool which we did every morning. The rooms are clean and air conditioned with fresh towels and bedsheets available...

"At first glance the place looked great and met our expectations. However after checking in and seeing our rooms and the different facilities we were a bit disappointed. The reception staff we talked to initially was very nonchalant and we did not feel welcomed. The rooms are worn by age and it is obvious the place has seen better days. If you want a cozy, relaxing jungle visit I suggest a more modern resort. If you want more action I suggest booking something closer to Ubud as the daily shuttle service is always delayed by traffic."
