âNot as nice as advertised. Poor food quality, no alcohol service (the âamazing wine tastingâ I saw someone post about was clearly fake, as they donât have a license). There is only one restaurant and it is filled with flies, and the food isnât very good.
The only okay thing was the actual room. Newly renovated and pretty clean. But there were some ants and spiders (no bedbugs). However the bed only had a sheet, no duvet, so it was very uncomfortable to sleep in. Iâm grateful we were only...

âThe AC in our first room wasn't functioning properly. We were moved to another room and that was great. The staff were all fantastic, the pool was beautiful in a great location which felt like you were in the jungle. Breakfast was excellent. Other meals all very good and tasty. â

âLeopard Trails is a fabulous rustic luxury camp in the beautiful Wilpattu Park. This was one of our favorite stays in all of Sri Lanka! The Naturalist guide who took us on safari was attentive, knowledgable, and a genuinely great guy. Back at camp, the rooms were comfortable and the private dining candle lit dinners were magically romantic. I recommend the suite with the plunge pool, it was bliss after a hot and dusty drive on safari. Do not miss the opportunity to visit this special place! â

âPart of this hotel is under renovation. Improvements are being made but the service is excellent as provided by Dilan, the owner.
This hotel has a huge lake right behind it and it is sanctuary to wild life. Very quiet and peaceful. I strongly recommend it.â

âThis is an unique place to be! Such lovely people, you feel overwhelmed with kindness and hospitallity! And a chance to go to Willpathu N.P. We were there for 2 nights and will never forget our stay with these lovely people! And they make you tradditional food and snacks... An unique experience!â

âThe hotel offers clean and spacious rooms, ensuring a comfortable stay. The beautiful views from the property are a remarkable highlight. Furthermore, the breakfast buffet provides a delightful culinary experience. It is a truly wonderful place to relax and enjoy.â

âThis is a primitive camping site. Yes the tent is large and there is an outdoor toilet and shower which is delightful but this is still just a camp site. No other facilities. There is no A/C and it can get quite hot in the tent. We had a wonderful candle lit dinner by the chef who also lit us a fire which was beautiful under the stars. Some holes in the tent need to be fixed due to mosquitos. â

âThe pictures are deceiving. Positive thing is that the room is spacious and AC is fantastic. Everything else is something to criticize on. I.e a ton of mosquitos, washroom is full of stains, the doors to the bathroom doesnât close properly making mosquitos to fly into the room through the bathroom. The bed had mattress cover but no blankets whatsoever and had to explicitly request one, which showed up as if a few cats picked a fight in it. â
