“Very nice hotel in the center of Anuradhapura. The room was really clean and comfortable, the pool was great, the food was excellent (we recommend to take the diner at the hotel) and the manager was extremely kind, helping us organize our visit to the city with a wonderful guide for a very honest price. Some comments mentioned noise from the street, but we were not disturbed at all during our stay. One recommendation: add a mosquito net, since mosquitos in Anuradhapura seemed quite aggressive”

“Leopard Trails is a fabulous rustic luxury camp in the beautiful Wilpattu Park. This was one of our favorite stays in all of Sri Lanka! The Naturalist guide who took us on safari was attentive, knowledgable, and a genuinely great guy. Back at camp, the rooms were comfortable and the private dining candle lit dinners were magically romantic. I recommend the suite with the plunge pool, it was bliss after a hot and dusty drive on safari. Do not miss the opportunity to visit this special place! ”

“The team at Big Game was amazing! We booked because we really wanted to do a safari and that was amazing but we were blown away be everything else! The food was above and beyond what I expected with 4 courses for dinner, 3 at lunch , and a very full breakfast. They list breakfast as continental but it's much more than that. The first tent we were in was fine but we upgraded part way through and really appreciated the extra space! ”

“The AC in our first room wasn't functioning properly. We were moved to another room and that was great. The staff were all fantastic, the pool was beautiful in a great location which felt like you were in the jungle. Breakfast was excellent. Other meals all very good and tasty. ”

“Not as nice as advertised. Poor food quality, no alcohol service (the ”amazing wine tasting” I saw someone post about was clearly fake, as they don’t have a license). There is only one restaurant and it is filled with flies, and the food isn’t very good. The only okay thing was the actual room. Newly renovated and pretty clean. But there were some ants and spiders (no bedbugs). However the bed only had a sheet, no duvet, so it was very uncomfortable to sleep in. I’m grateful we were only...
