“Fantastiskt att få testa att bo i en traditionell Hanok & sova på en futon. Det var hårt, men är man beredd på det, går det bra en natt!! Personalen pratar begränsad engelska, men hade ordnat med en beskrivning om vad vi behövde på engelska. Det gick mycket bra. Frukosten var underbar! Kan varmt rekommendera Sarangroo!!”

“We booked 2 nights, but do to the unfortunat fact that my travel companion lost his phone in another town we ended up staying a day and a half extra. The hotel staff (though not that fluent in English) were a tremendous help in locating the phone and directing it to be mailed to the hotel. They were fantastic!!! Also we got a very reasonable price on the extra night we had to stay, and we got to wait for free the day after, till the phone arrived in the early afternoon. Apart from that the...

“The Mumum (Deo Meomum in Naver app) is a wonderful accommodation if you want to stay in a Hanok. The owners are very helpful and friendly and made our two night stay more than we expected. The Korean breakfast was delicious. The location is very good right next to the wall of Gyeonggijeon Shrine. I highly recommend this accommodation.”

“群山に滞在の時はいつも泊まっています。親戚の家を訪ねたようなあたたかい雰囲気。その為か泊まっている方も皆フレンドリーです。隣の声が聞こえたり、窓のない部屋は少し圧迫感がありますが、共同のリビングはとても広くて開放的できもちがいいです。無料の朝食でインスタントでないコーヒーがいただけるのも嬉しい。また群山滞在の時はお願いします。いつも夜に着いて朝出発するので、一階の中華料理店に入ったことがないのですが、おいしそうなので機会があれば食べてみたいです。”

“제가 있었던 객실(SPACE5)이 제일 작은 방이었던 것 같은데, 방이 상당히 작긴 해도 필요한 건 다 있어서 나름 편안하게 지냈습니다. 별 다섯 개 드리긴 했지만 사실 모든게 다 훌륭하다는 건 아니구요, 저렴한 가격에 비해 상당히 좋았다라는 겁니다. 방문을 열었을 때 신발 벗는 곳 따로 없이 바로 온돌방이어서 살짝 당황스럽긴 했어요. 바로 옆에 신발보관함이 있어서 방문 밖에서 신발 벗고 보관함에 바로 넣어야 하는 구조라 드나들 때 조금 번거롭긴 했습니다. 그리고 바닥에 깔고 자는 요가 일반적인 싱글베드 폭보다 좁아요. 저는 괜찮았지만 체격이 크신 분들은 불편하실 수 있습니다. 의자와 테이블이 없어서 살짝 아쉬웠는데, 그런 가구를 놓을 수 있는 공간이 안나와요. 좁은 공간을 나름 영리하게 꾸몄다 생각했구요, 이 방은 저처럼 혼자 쓰셔야지 둘이 쓰면 대략 난감일 것 같습니다. 하지만, 체크인 때 마치 일본료칸에서처럼 응대해주셔서 감동이었고, 아침에 준비해 주시는 간단한 조식도...

“Beautiful property where you can truly enjoy the Hanok experience! We were looking for a Hanok place, with beds (which is not super common) as sleeping on floors is uncomfortable for us. So this place was great. Please keep in mind that Hanok's have small bathrooms and no soundproof walls. But we sincerely enjoyed our stay here. Not sure if the owners can speak english, but they were super nice during our stay (as we could speak korean with them) and they even provided us with umbrellas when it...

“We enjoyed our stay here. The host let us check in early which was very kind. Our room although small was perfect for a one night stay. Everything was clean and they provide you with a lot of toiletries including toothbrushes. Breakfast is in a shared room and consists of toast, jams, cereals and coffee and tea. The hanok is located in a great spot to explore by foot all the local amenities.”

“Dowon Guesthouse is a wonderful place to stay. The Hanok is pretty, and the location is very good. Walking distance to the Hanok village. The guesthouse owner is so kind and friendly. She helped us a lot and made our stay very pleasant. I really recommend staying at this Hanok.”
