âWe loved our stay at La Villa Retreat! Everything from the way we were greeted with a wine tasting our first night, to the beautiful grounds, to our well appointed room, to the lovely breakfasts made it a great stay. One cool night we requested that the staff light the fire in our fireplace so it would be warm when we returned. Returning after dinner to a room lit by the fireplace was just delightful. If it wasn't so far away, we'd happily return often for a couple's getaway!â

âWonderful stay in the exquisite two bedroom apartment. Spotlessly clean and luxurious. Beautiful views from the apartment and excellent location too. The owner and her colleague were also very helpful and went above and beyond. Would highly recommend. â
âHad a Marvellous time - The staff make you so welcome and everything is catered for excellently- from breakfast to assisting with dinner reservations, places to see, the owner even went to get a razor and shaving cream from the local shop as I had forgotten mine, Champagne for our anniversary - I can not recommend this place enough itâs a place of tranquility and splendour.â
âUnfortunately we only stayed at Ashbourne House for one night, and that is a shame because it is a very nice guest house!
The room are clean, fresh and comfortable. When we arrived they had put choclate at our pillows, the choclate were from a local shop in Franshhoek.
Me and my boyfriend are crazy about the breakfast at the hotel. They served everything from scrambled eggs, omeletts, bacon to fresh fruit and yoghurt.
We can really recomend this guest house! â
âWe had a great three night stay at Les Chambres. Excellent location on a quite street in Franschhoek. Walking distance to everything and very safe.
Great breakfast, stunning gardens, very nice communal areas with a lot of art work from one of the local gallery and very friendly and helpful staff.
