“This was our 4th trip to CR, and we have stayed in a different VRBO each time. This was the least-expensive home we have stayed in. While not luxurious, it was welcoming and comfortable. “We had the good fortune to book 4 nights at this extraordinary property and our only regret is we didn’t stay longer! From communication prior to our arrival to check out process, all was wonderful! The property itself is gorgeous with stunning views, the house has everything one could want or need and then some and the hostess, Tonia, is a gem of a human! “The listing was accurate. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The views were just magnificent. The pool was comfortable to swim in even though it was not heated. We utilized the airport pick-up and drop-off, the car rental service and the stock your pantry service offered by the house managers, Piet and Yvonne. These services made iur trip so easy. ”

“My daughter and I flew to Costa Rica for a long weekend to visit my son who is in college in San Jose for the semester. This property was perfect for our little reunion. Plenty of space, beautiful views way up in the hills, and a pool. The owners were very helpful and charming. Liked that the house had a local flavor and not generic like most hotels and many other rentals were. Nice restaurants in town. Was central to our day trips.”

“This is a lush, green paradise with an abundance of trees, fruits, flowers..it is calm and peaceful. The absolute best part of our stay were the warm, generous and accommodating hosts, Eduardo and Betty. They gave us the most wonderful Pura Vida experience and quickly became friends for life. There are not enough positive adjectives to describe the hosts and the manner in which guests are treated. We will definitely return to visit our new friends!”

“Ups: Beautiful, old buildings with murals surrounded by all kinds of flowers and trees. The place feels very secure. Great breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs, gallo pinto, bread etc. Downs: They were supposed to provide kitchenware but it was not enough to actually cook for a family. Our room was neglected and the shower was not a pleasure to use. The pool was super cold and a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures but they do have a jacuzzi that was great!”
