Vacker egendom omgiven av frodig vegetation med mycket privatliv bredvid skogen och en vacker ström. Perfekt för familjer eller grupper av vänner. 10 minuter från områdets största attraktioner (hot springs, temaparker, nationalpark, bland andra).
Vi har luftkonditionering, wifi, fåtöljer, tv, huset är mycket välutrustat, platsen är super tyst och ligger mycket nära centrum av La Fortuna, bara 10 minuter från centrum.

We had a wonderful time at this house. Nice pool and convenient to La Fortuna and surrounding Arenal areas. Plenty of room for our family and we were even able to see the two sloths who live in the property.

Unfortunately, due to the big snowstorm that came across the United States, we were not able to make our trip. That being said that was no fault of the hosts. They were very gracious and were great in communicating with us. I hope when we get to rebook our Costa Rica vacation, this home is available because I was really looking forward to staying there.

Amazing place to stay! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Communication was excellent—the host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The very kind staff showed us around the property and even found sloths for us! The pool was beautiful, and everyone in our family truly enjoyed the stay. Great location, close to all of our tours. We would happily come back.

The property was immaculate. The owner was nearby and incredibly helpful. We were able to enjoy the natural beauty and there were even 2 sloths on the property . If you want a great private home a few miles out of La Fortuna this home has everything you need , just bring your food and clothes . Very safe and secure .

AC worked great, the property was immaculate and spacious. The pool received a lot of direct sunlight, making it warm and a favorite among the family. The master suite was comfortable, and we loved the shower in the bathroom. We had minor issues checking in due to Google Maps stopping us one driveway early, and the doorcode instructions were a little confusing the first time. The area is a little remote, but we expected that going into the mountains. There are plenty of grocery options if you are willing to cook food, and some local restaurants, but don't expect a ton of options to eat out. Overall, this was our second-favorite property during our 8-day stay out of 5 properties total.

This was beautiful home near all the activities of La Fortuna and Arenal, yet tucked away for a more peaceful and private setting. We are a family of 5 and enjoyed having our own space to prepare some of our meals, relax in the pool and recoup between activities .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners/hosts were available and thorough in all communication. The home was well equipped. The bathrooms were luxurious! We loved the location - close enough to the town of La Fortuna, but far enough away to enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounded us. The maintenance man took us to see 3 sloths on the property and shared some fruit with us that grew there.

This house was amazing and fit our family of 5 perfectly! Everyone had their own space and slept great. The patio was perfect to relax, eat a meal and watch the kids swim (even in the rain). The kitchen was great for cooking in on the nights we were too tired to go out. The property is beautiful and has two sloths living there (the owner pointed them out to us multiple times) and my kids even named one of them. It was a perfect location and very quiet but also located close to numerous activities. We were very sad to leave. Thank you for an amazing trip.

Great home. It's one of those places that you instantly start thinking about when you might return there again. We came with kids this time but the house is so nice and with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms we thought it would be perfect to return with a group of friends. The pool was great and we spent a lot of time in it. We also saw 3 different sloths right there on the property. This was by far the nicest and best equipped home we stayed at during our trip.

Beautiful, Clean House, quiet neighborhood

This property was an outstanding stay for us! Two adults, travelling with 1 adult child. Clean, well kept, modern build house, with a spectacular pool/waterfall and a well manicured yard. This property is a great place off the beaten path but close to everything. We would definitely come back!

Great family vacation

We had a wonderful time here. House was well equipped, had everything we needed. We were 2 families with both young kids and teens. The kitchen is fully equipped. The living room is small but plenty of chairs at table and bar. The pool was nice. AC works great! Arnaldo was very responsive. House was very clean. Highly recommend. You will need to drive into La Fortuna and at night the drive can be bit tricky with people walking along the narrow roads. Don’t be surprised with bugs visiting you..you are in the rainforest!

Very nice property. Lots of room, clean and a great pool.

Big house, lots of beds and bath for multiple couples. Tucked back in a gated area with lots of surrounding nature. Could use some bedside lighting and a few more pieces of furniture, but that is literally it. Map on listing shows property RIGHT on the edge of La Fortuna (maybe their office) but it is actually about a 15 minute trip into town...especially at night and in the rain.

Excellent!

We were impressed with this beautiful property! It is in a quiet area and was very clean, well stocked and had comfortable beds and linens. We enjoyed hanging out in the pool and patio area, especially for breakfast. We saw many birds including Tucans. One of the grounds keepers even showed us a sloth on property. It was a highlight for us! We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful La Fortuna vacation!

Casa Calibri Rubi is a beautiful and spacious home in a private gated community, extremely clean, upgraded throughout. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, great A/C units, very nice bathrooms with shower gels/shampoo/conditioner provided. We appreciated that Arnaldo provided detailed instructions on how to use security codes, appliances, A/C, etc. He is a great host. We really liked the wonderful outdoor living space. Great pool, huge covered patio with very nice dining table and chairs, comfortable upholstered furniture set. We preferred that Casa Calibri Rubi was located just outside of town, surrounded by nature, a lovely large, lush yard and grounds—all the sights and sounds we love about Costa Rica! We rented a car, it’s an easy 10 drive to downtown La Fortuna. It was convenient to all the fun adventures we planned.In the early morning hours I loved our Costa Rican “alarm clock” howler monkeys! Luis, the groundskeeper showed us a couple of sloths in trees right on the property as well as a family of howler monkeys—-so awesome!We will return to La Fortuna and we highly recommend this house.

Tranquil La Fortuna Retreat

Our stay at Casa Colibri was absolutely wonderful with plenty of room for our family to stretch out and a beautiful pool and gorgeous property. Our hosts were very accommodating. Everything was super clean and we had a wonderful experience taking small adventures and coming back to relax at this beautiful home. We especially loved the pool and terrace where we sat and played games each night as a family. The caretaker brought us to visit a sloth on the property and we were invited to walk the lovely grounds. We had a wonderful experience and are looking forward to return soon!
