“Easy to access and very close to downtown La Fortuna. Liked being in a quiet, quaint neighborhood. The property sits next to the river. We had some heavy rain and you could hear the river flowing as well as sounds of the forest. It was nice. Contained everything we needed and was comfortable all around. ”

“We really enjoyed the quiet village and the house's amazing views of the volcano and lake! We saw beautiful birds everywhere. Loved the swings and the 3rd floor lookout! So peaceful. The only drawbacks were, one night the neighborhood dogs barked for an hour and we had a little trouble finding the house but Erika went out of her way to talk us through it and had her daughter meet us! “The Villa was wonderful. The grounds were like a botanical garden. We saw wildlife, howler monkeys, toucans and numerous birds, from the patio! It's location was perfect. The proximity to adventures and local restaurants was ideal. We would definitely stay here again. ”

“It was amazing. So first of all there is a remote gate to get to the house which makes you feel like you are visiting royalty. The white outside is like a bungalow in the middle of wilderness. It is super modern and renovated. The outdoor space is also so beautiful with its large front porch and smaller back yard porches. There is lush plants and coconut and banana trees in the back and all sorts of greenery. The bathrooms are super modern. There are plenty of towels, bags and condiments etc....

“We loved our stay at El Cielo. I cant say enough about the view. It was so special and the view if the lake and Volcano was magical. The hummingbirds were all over the garden area. The monkeys close by in the trees in the early morning. There were horses grazing right in front of the property and it made for a picture perfect scene .
