Sadly, we had to cancel our stay the day before our arrival so I cannot speak to the actual home, I would say our host was very communicative and helpful in regards to putting us in touch with a driver/activity planner and offered to help locate any other services we may have needed.

Great clean and well maintained property. We have 3 adult children and it worked really well with my daughters sharing one room and my son having the other . Having bathrooms in each bedroom was the best! Bedrooms are “courtyard style” around the pool area , each with its own separate entry. If there were shared items that we all needed like ibuprofen or sunscreen we kept that in the main area. So bring at least 3 toothpastes :) so you don’t have to go back and forth for items like that. This would not be suitable for families with small children just because of the bedroom set up. Air conditioning worked great in all spaces. We cooked breakfast everyday. The grounds are very pretty. We saw a toucan our first day there. It is gated and a very safe area . It rained 3/4 days we were there (January 13-17), so we got pretty wet and weren’t able to use the beautiful pool area that much. They have an outdoor bathroom which is super convenient when you are using the pools. Some activities we did (through all the rain:) were Arenal national park Mistico hanging bridges, LaFortuna waterfall and Bogarin Trail to look for sloths. Lots of walking and my one pair of tennis shoes I brought got soaked so might be a good idea to pack 2 pair of good walking/hiking shoes. Having laundry on site was a life saver. For groceries go to Super Rosvil. Great property Would book again!

Beautiful house in a quiet setting, your own little retreat. Very clean, comfortable beds, lots of linens and a warm jacuzzi. We saw sloths and toucans around the property.I highly recommend this property.

Our stay here was amazing. The property is beautiful, the host was very responsive, and the home had everything we needed for a lovely time. One of the men working on the property showed us where sloths and iguanas were sleeping, which was so kind. Overall we would 1000 times recommend staying here! The location is close to La Fortuna without being touristy.

The home is beautiful, and while we didn’t use any of the suggested services… our friend did use the private airport transfer and said it was great!The host is responsive and lives on the adjacent property, we had two small issues and he addressed both quickly and effectively.Overall great experience in an amazing property!

Beautiful and Quiet

This house is just as advertised. Beautiful, clean, and quiet. We stayed with a group of 9 and loved it. We saw a sloth in the tree right outside the house. In the 16 days we spent in Costa Rica this was the best view we got of one! Watched it for an hour. La Fortuna waterfall was amazing as well as the hot springs. You will love this house.

Casa Colibri Coqueta was terrific!

We enjoyed our time at this house. It is about 10 minutes by car outside of La Fortuna. Once we found the property, it was a very nice place. Exploring the grounds and experiencing the sound of the forest was a wonderful experience. We even found a sloth on the property. I would recommend Casa Colibri Coqueta to any family visiting the Arenal area.

Nice spacious Villa on beautiful property!

My husband and I stayed with our four 20 years old children . The property was beautiful and it was nice to have the privacy of the four rooms. The rooms were extremely spacious and all had their own bathroom ! Renters be aware that the entrance to your rooms is on the outside in courtyard like a hotel . I don’t know that I would want this if we had young kids with us and then have access to the pool. But for our group, it was fine. The pool was beautiful and big enough for a swim. The hot tub was great as well. The property had a nice open area to walk around and backed up to the jungle. It wasn’t immediately on top of the jungle which we liked. There seems to be a resident Sloth in one area on the property, which was kind of cool.. it was great to have the air conditioners and they worked well. The villa was very clean and modern. There wasn’t much in way of inside furniture, but we did spend most of our time outside so that didn’t bother us much. I did have to comment though that check in and check out instructions were not clear to me. I was an hour and a half from the property and didn’t have directIons to the house yet only an area. But everything else really was great. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.!!

Incredible Stay!

Stayed for four nights and absolutely had an amazing time in the La Fortuna area and at this property. Everything was very well maintained, clean, and cared for. Property grounds are immaculate - as others have mentioned - photos do not do it justice. We saw large iguanas and a sloth on the property, which was an unexpected treat. The separation of the rooms/casitas gave everyone privacy and plenty of room to spread out. The location was close to everything - chocolate tours, night walk, and not far from downtown. Would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

Hidden Gem Near Fortuna

We came to Costa Rica for my mother's 70th birthday, we were hesitant about going during rainy season, but found this gem and thought let's give it a shot! We were not disappointed, we drove in the dark from LIR airport and rented a car, everyone in CR uses wazes so that was our go to, which worked everywhere except finding this place, it's down a long drive way and you couldn't see that on Waze so use google maps for this one. Once we arrived and we were so happy! The place was super clean, tons of room to cook, relax and explore! The mornings were sunny and hot! We enjoyed the pool in the mornings and the hot tub at night. It's about 15 minutes from La Fortuna Plaza not a bad drive. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores in the area. The property itself is gorgeous and Luis the grounds keeper is awesome, he showed us the 2 finger and 3 finger sloths, we saw beautiful birds, huge frogs, tiny frogs...so cool! Also did the waterfall, just down the street, a volcano hike, hot springs and the coffee/chocolate tour and still feel rested because everything is so close! Property owners were fast and efficient! Love love love, will be back for sure! Thank you!

Fantastic!! 10/10!

We loved this place, and would definitely stay here again! The bathrooms were well-appointed with extra towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The shared space had everything you need for cooking. All the appliances were new, and well maintained. Included a washer and dryer, and even a swimsuit spinner. The host was very responsive. The pictures don’t do this place justice! It was incredible! We saw sloths and other wildlife on the property.
