“As I say in the title this is a nice place and I will add it is a great value. The host asked us before we left if there was anything we would suggest to make our stay even better. We told Cristian there were a few minor things that would make this place even more appealing. First and foremost a microwave oven would be a huge upgrade. “If you are staying in La Fortuna, I cannot imagine a better option. We used it as a home base for all the usual activities in the area. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). “This is such a special spot. A hidden gem. The cafe is so fun and some of the best food we had during our stay. We ate there 3 times! Kelly is an awesome host and very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended. ”

“Everything went well, we really enjoyed our stay. It’s a great location, just a few minutes outside of the busy downtown area and very close to the hot springs at Tabacon. ATV tours are almost Nextdoor… very close. The pool/jacuzzi was a nice perk being able to utilize it with some degree of privacy. Directions were adequate, just look for the sign on the side of the building as soon as you exit the highway and watch out for drop going from pavement to gravel…. It’s substantial but not an issue...
