“Cabañas del Rio was a wonderful place to stay in La Fortuna. We stayed in the family unit with three queen beds and a kitchen. It worked out great for our family of 6. Wonderful garden trail to watch for birds and frogs in the morning. Felt at home here! Clean, comfortable beds, spacious. Thank you for a great stay! ”

For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). “Honestly an amazing little spot near the city center. Quiet comfortable and everything you need. One of the light bulbs burnt out and they were there within minutes to replace it. Helpful with things to do around as well”

“Everything went well, we really enjoyed our stay. It’s a great location, just a few minutes outside of the busy downtown area and very close to the hot springs at Tabacon. ATV tours are almost Nextdoor… very close. The pool/jacuzzi was a nice perk being able to utilize it with some degree of privacy. Directions were adequate, just look for the sign on the side of the building as soon as you exit the highway and watch out for drop going from pavement to gravel…. It’s substantial but not an issue...
