“When they say that 4x4 with high clearance is required, it is no joke. At least if you turn from Rt 142 driving from Monteverde. 6km of off roading at crawl speed. Fun if you are prepared. “If you want a quiet, isolated camping type experience, this is the spot! Roof over your head, cold AC, washroom and outdoor tub with an unbeatable view of Arenal. Expect bugs if you leave the window or door open too long - that end up dead on the floor in the morning. “Very comfortable accommodation. Enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evening. Hammock was a treat. Kitchen had everything we needed including coffee. Pool was great but we couldn’t find the hot tub controls. Location was good for us, close to everything but not too close. A very pleasant stay, will recommend it to friends. Muchas gracias!”
