With direct access to the sand, this home is made for family reunions, and friends who want to travel together and truly unwind. Best of all, it’s completely private: the entire rental is yours, and our caretakers live on the property in a separate, independent area, close by if you need anything but never in your space.

This house has been in our family for over 50 years, and we’ve loved sharing it with generations of relatives and friends. It’s a comfortable, relaxed beach house rather than a luxury resort: we keep it clean, well maintained, and fully functional, and we renovate it little by little. Because it’s a home with decades of history, you may notice a few worn spots or charming imperfections here and there. None of them affect your comfort or your stay. What you’ll find is a warm, welcoming place where the real luxury is the location, the space, and the ocean right outside your door.

Gas stations and a supermarket are close by, so stocking up for the week is easy. Arriving is easy too: we’re only 20 minutes from El Salvador International Airport and about 1 hour from the capital, San Salvador.

Just steps away is the Estero de Jaltepeque, a beautiful estuary where you can book a boat locally for relaxing tours through the mangroves, or head out to sea on a fishing tour to catch tuna, dorado, and more.
