âUnfortunately we only stayed at Ashbourne House for one night, and that is a shame because it is a very nice guest house!
The room are clean, fresh and comfortable. When we arrived they had put choclate at our pillows, the choclate were from a local shop in Franshhoek.
Me and my boyfriend are crazy about the breakfast at the hotel. They served everything from scrambled eggs, omeletts, bacon to fresh fruit and yoghurt.

âThe Cottage is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, the host Jan has thought of everything. The private area outside and the pool are fab, pretty garden with lots of flower's and shrubs to attract the birds. Jan sent us useful information on booking and then more on check in which helped us decide how we would spend our time, he gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and vineyards to visit. There were lots of lovely little touches each day it was definitely a 5 star...
âPlumwood boutique hotel was situated close to all the amenities in Franschhoek. The room was spotless. The staff were excellent on always on hand to help us. We had an amazing breakfast with a fantastic choice. We spent five nights in the petite apartment, which is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. Lovely gardens, swimming pool and a braai. The maintenance and cleaning is to a very high standard, WiFi worked well. Itâs well located in a quiet / safe area, pleasant walk to an abundance of great restaurants, cafes and wine bars. Highly recommend a visit, weâll be back!â

"We had problems at check in as they couldnât find our confirmed booking. 10 minutes later it was sorted so we got a room. Nice hotel with a nice pool area close to restaurants. The breakfast was not as good as it have been on previous stays."
