“We had a great time at FINCA el Refugio de Papito. The experience will stay with our family forever. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a Pura Vida experience. Whether it was fishing in the pond, seeing the sloths, macaws, iguanas, turtles or herons it was fantastic. Their offers of fresh coconut, plantains, and fresh cane juice were well received. Highly recommended and we hope to be back one day. Muchas gracias!”

“This stay was a wonderful experience! We spent Christmas at Gloria's house and it was perfect. The house and grounds are beautiful, with a gorgeous view. We enjoyed the well-maintained trail down to the river from the house, and visited the Blue Falls - highly recommend for those able to manage some stairs and elevation. We had a couple dinners cooked by the neighbors and they were delicious. Yadi and her family are very kind, and invited the kids to see their newborn calf. We enjoyed listening...

“The home was exactly as pictured, beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and plenty of trees, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The hosts, Al, Ana, and Leo, were incredibly warm and welcoming throughout our stay. “Thank you Adrian. You have a beautiful home with such a lovely view and we were surrounded by big blooming hydrangeas. We really enjoyed our stay. We visited the nearby la paz gardens, which was amazing. And we went up to see the poas volcano, which cleared up nicely for us so we get a good look. And of course loved our visits from mani and duke, the resident pups!! A wonderful stay in a beautiful home. ”
