Outside, the sparkling pool and spa offer magnificent views of the surrounding mountains, and a comfortable seating area is a perfect spot to enjoy afternoon cocktails or to witness some of those amazing desert sunsets.

This home is located in the famous La Quinta neighborhood of Topaz. Just a mile from this vacation rental, you'll find several restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and big box stores all along Highway 111. The Stagecoach and Coachella Music Festivals are held at the Empire Polo Club, just a little over six miles from your door. Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino is only seven miles east of this rental if you want to try your luck at some adult gaming. Or bring your clubs and book your spot on several fantastic golf courses in the area, some of which are world-famous!

THINGS TO KNOW
Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10 am to 10 pm.
The utility deposit is $1,500 for 28 nights, with $375 added for each additional week the guest stays.

Security camera details: There are two security cameras on-site: one mounted underneath the back awning facing the pool area and one inside the home in the living room. Cameras are disconnected during guest occupancy.
2 days notification is required in order to heat the pool spa. A fee of USD 75 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool spa heat for your stay.
Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Spring break getaway

House was what we needed - good location to get out and about. Neighborhood felt very safe and quiet. Only complaint was the hot tub and pool were same temperature which was disappointing since my teens were looking forward to it. Kitchen was a bit dated but it was great for our needs. House decor was very nice and we had everything you could need. This was a spring break trip with my teen daughter and her friend and we were all very comfortable and had plenty of space!

Property had all we needed. Walking distance from tennis garden. Kitchen and bathrooms in need of renovation as well as outside woodwork. Mattresses too soft!

Nice place, great communication

Great communication and easy check-in with property manager. Stayed only 2 nights but found house with plenty of linens, towels, and a full kitchen. Pool smaller than what picture shows otherwise no complaints. Convenient to have use of garage. A/C worked great. Overall nice place to stay and appreciate the communication with property manager and ease of check in.

Great but could be beater

My husband and I were looking for a quick get away close to home for some rest and relaxation.. this place provided all of that. The following are suggestions for this place and not attacks: 1. Make sure all appliances in the unit work: the ceiling fan in the master bedroom did not work and shower in the same room did not seem to work as water coming out of the shower head was a trickle and the sink on the left in this same bathroom the pressure was low- maybe the faucet needs to be replaced since pressure to the right one was functioning. 2. Find a way for the AC to be adjusted lower than 76 and still function.. with temperatures in the 100's it would have been nice to have it a little bit cooler in the house. We did not adjust it as we did not want to be without AC for the remainder of our stay and we were advised this is what would happen. 3. Make sure floors and cupboards are clean., the ones in the kitchen were very sticky and I had to clean both cupboards and floor. 4. Make sure guest book has more detailed instructions for how things work, specifically TV set up. controls for hottub, and how to operate the fireplace. 5. When listing heated pool and spa make sure to include in the title that there is an extra cost for this luxury. Overall, my husband and I were satisfied with out stay= we enjoyed seeing a hummingbird nest right outside the door of the master bedroom that had a baby hummingbird in it!!

OK (and heads up, this is a Vacasa)

Overall, this was an OK property and I don’t have anything ‘dealbreaker’ level to share. Here are a few thoughts if they help you to stay here or look elsewhere... - this is a Vacasa property (as noted in the listing, so nothing sneaky but it was our first experience with the company) and I am not sure if all of their properties are like this, but compared to other VRBOs we have stayed at, this place lacked character and the little details that come from renting from an owner that uses the property. To compare to a hotel, this would be like a motel and not a boutique hotel. Cheap toilet paper and paper towels, door handles that stick and are hard to use, not great water pressure in bath tub and sinks, etc - if you need a place to crash at and are in the area for something (festival, tournament, conference, etc) this is probably perfect for you. It has everything you need, is clean enough and has decent superficial renovations. If you are looking for a place where you will spend most of your vacation in the house and by the pool, I would suggest looking around before committing to this one - There is a fee to heat to ‘spa’ and pool. That is in the listing so not saying it is sneaky, but it was new to us and we had missed it so had to turn on and pay for heat after we arrived. I put ‘spa’ in quotes because it is worth noting that it is not really a hot tub, and is not heated unless you pay the extra daily fee. It is one that overflows into the pool so even once we turned on heat, it was never hot and didn’t have jets (at least not that we found). This might be a known thing and just our bad for not being more familiar with pools, but sharing in case you’re like us - Gardeners and Pool cleaner came while we were at the property. Not huge deal, but it was during the pandemic, so a bit of a thing to adjust to (pool cleaner didn’t have a mask if that is important to you). Minimal distraction but felt like something an owner would have worked around to have them show up in between guests perhaps, but guessing Vacasa as a property management company doesn’t worry about - check in and communication with Vacasa was harder than we have experienced in the past with owners. It seems there is a universal check in time of 4 so guessing their call center support is flooded with calls at that time, so I get it...but we sat on hold for a while when we wanted to check on something and seems that wouldn’t have happened with a great host/owner
