“Pros: It was a nice stay in the center of the town next to a little plaza. Directly after the town we could walk our dogs in the beautiful fields. Cons: Every thing was very clean except the massive amount of ants we had on the living room floor and we couldn’t locate where they came from.”

“This place is great, really nice apartment. But if you book the day before arrriving then make sure to call ahead as I alsmost couldn’t check in . I have to call and the man running the place was super helpful and came over quickly even though it was 20:30 and the mix up was not his fault, hotels.com took my booking and charged me but due to the last minute nature didn’t transfer the booking to the hotels System! “The lovely apartment we rented for 11 days in Fuenmayor La Rioja, Spain was great. The apartment was spacious, nicely kept with all that a person could ask for. "Nah, not a 5 star. Maybe 3-4. Really clean and nice rooms. Shame there is no chair. The breakfast for 40 is a joke for a 5 star. Why? 1. No personal welcome or good morning. 2. No one asked if I wanted coffee or a omelette. 3. The ”fresh” juices was not fresh squeezed just concentrate. Very bad actually. 4. No real grinder coffee. Just a pod machine. 5. The bread was fresh - from yesterday maybe - hard and dry. 6. Pancakes and waffles was cold, my suggestion is to have a chef or a machine so you can get them hot and fresh. Good: I was alone and a lot of fresh fruits which was much appreciated. I also had to pay for the spa? Nice hotel in a nice area but much to improve to honor a 5 star. "
