âThe property is clean and beautiful. It has an amazing pool. We stayed during the slow season in New Orleans, so the property was quiet. The hotel advertises their swim up bar, but it was not open during our stay. They did have a walk-up bar, however. They also open the pool to the public for a fee, making it more crowded than it would be with guests only, but loungers are reserved for guests. The design of the hotel is gorgeous. âWonderful building. The rooms as well as common areas were nicely designed and felt European. Classy! Our private terrace was quite barren, two chairs and a small table that almost disappeared on the huge terrace. Some plants, infra-red heating and a light that actually worked would have made it so much more comfortable. Room service was excellent.â
