“Stayed here at the end of the spring semester to help my son move out of his apartment and make the drive back to NC. Location is convenient to campus (25 minute drive) but far enough away to offer a peaceful stay. Owners were extremely accommodating and responsive. They also provided helpful local information before my stay. Rental was very clean and comfortable. Great river view.”

“I didn’t expect much for this house to be honest because I just wanted it for one night. But when I walked in it was so big and spacious. Such a cute house. The host was a fast communicator, they had a lot of beds. It was a very fun place to stay. They had games and books! They even let small events happen ofc that’s why I booked. They’re nice and if you ever need to book a place. Don’t hesitate! This place is great! Cleanliness 10/10”

“The house was exactly as it looks in the photos. Very charming and clean. Also peaceful. Just be aware that the “2 twin beds in the common space” are the two (very hard) futons in the living room. My group was made up of seven 40-yr-old women and there was no way any of us could sleep on those things, so two of us ended up having to share one of the actual twin beds in a bedroom. I highly suggest taking an air mattress and your own pillows if you have more than 6 people over the age of 25!”

“We had 13 extended family members for 6 nights. The house was great. Up to date, well stocked, and comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep. The kids loved jumping off the dock. The Traeger grill was fun - easy to use, delicious BBQ! Plenty of options for eating meals indoors or out on the patio. Can't say enough about how wonderful of a time we had.”

“The location was great. It felt like you were completely isolated and not in a neighborhood. At first we thought being by the railroad tracks would be a headache but we honestly found it to not be a problem and enjoyed the train horn when it came by. The rules at the end of check out were not lengthy and super easy to do.”

“Home had everything we needed. Busy weekend, but we did take a moment to sit out in the private backyard. The simplicity of the home was refreshing and freeing. Beautifully set table looked very inviting. Only recommendations would be hand towel holders in the bathrooms and an end table or two in living room. Would definitely stay here again. Very close to restaurants”
