âMy daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. I'm pretty sure Italy doesn't offer swimming by yourself in a mountain stream surrounded by the echoes of howler monkeys. â
âWe were looking for an âoff-touristâ spot since we flew in from nyc and were driving up to La fortuna. This was an absolute gem. Plenty space for kids to run/play, hot springs, gorgeous river stream. We only had one morning, but wouldâve easily stayed for a couple nights if we didnât have our next stop scheduled! Totally recommend this place - be prepared as this is more like a high-end âglampingâ. Plenty beds and sleeping accommodations. Very respectful and accommodating staff. â
âAstounding beauty outside, a stylish, cozy feeling inside. We stayed in a mountain view room on the main building, and really enjoyed our short stay. We'll be back to try to trails on property. The room is spacious (much larger than it looked in the pictures), the view amazing, and the grounds are gorgeous. Fantastic property, and lovely service. Highly recommended. â

âThe location is beautiful, safe, and picturesque. Breakfast was delicious, with something slightly different each day, and it was delivered right to our chalet. I stayed for 4 nights with my two teenage kids, and they absolutely loved the cosy look and feel of the chalet.
