“A gem close to the airport. Nice beautiful garden and pool area. Beautifully decorated rooms.”

“Varmt välkomnande och fick bra tips inför kommande rundresa norröver. Underbar frukost som man får på en bricka att äta på balkongen med utsikt över djungelträdgården. Bra start på resan i Costa Rica.”

“Great location close to Poas and within an hour of the airport. Staff very attentive and accommodating.”

“Mycket rent, fräscha sängar, kuddar och täcken. Mycket bra service. Fint med brasa i huset. När vi behövde fler täcken, kom de direkt. ”

“Great for value place where the host even helped us park our car into their secure parking lot and helped us retrieve our car. Would have preferred if there was a code to get in so we didn't have to communicate our check in time. Appreciated the AC, common kitchen. We didn't know how to use the hot water but realized afterwards that there was hot water.”

“Wonderful property at the botanical gardens overlooking the San Jose city with nice walking trails. Tons of birds and butterflies. The on-site restaurant is top notch. I don’t need one, but rooms do not have televisions. Use caution if driving as the roads are steep and narrow. Cars and trucks often park in the road creating one lane there aren’t any sidewalks so people and dogs also share the roads so be mindful if driving.”

“Nice view and surroundings. Choose upper floor. No heating or air condition and it can really be cold there around 2000m above sea level.”

“The rooms were wonderful with our own fireplace . The grounds were amazing and the food was great. The staff was terrific.”

“Clean rooms the whole property was clean, food was good, front desk and waiter staff was exceptional, kid friendly and everything was easily accessible”

“Nous n’avons pas eu d’eau chaude durant notre séjour. Avec un temps frais et très humide cela a malheureusement gâché notre plaisir d’autant plus lorsque l’on voyage avec de jeunes enfants. À ce sujet l’hébergement n’est pas adapté pour les enfants. Pas de lumières extérieures pour manger sur la terrasse et profiter de la vue dommage encore. Si non correct pour le prix”

“La Terraza was an absolute delight. The staff and owners couldn’t have been more friendly, more helpful, more accommodating. We stayed in the El Rio apartment. A bit more expensive than a regular room but, OMG, so worth it!! Its large, has a beautiful view from the terrace, full kitchen, beautifully decorated. The owners, Charles and Peter, were an absolute delight. We talked through the entire breakfast and Charles even joined us one day for breakfast. The staff was also delightful. Mauricio...

“Zimmer war sauber aber ein wenig dunkel”

“We stayed here during a family vacation and were blown away by this beautiful property that’s located in Bajos del Toro, a truly spectacular location in central Costa Rica. William, the owner happened to be there during our visit and both he and Viktor, his business partner, were welcoming and helpful - truly lovely people. The beds were comfortable, the property was clean and well-equipped, and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed drinking our coffee on the back porch overlooking the waterfall....
