We had an amazing stay at this oceanfront house. The home was exceptionally clean and well maintained, which made us feel comfortable the moment we arrived. Being so close to the beach was a huge highlight—easy access and beautiful views made it effortless to enjoy the ocean throughout the day.The house was well stocked with plenty of towels, which was especially convenient for a large group and beach days. One of our favorite experiences was spotting whales right from the house using the provided binoculars—such a special and memorable touch. The area itself was quiet and not crowded, offering a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere while still feeling safe and welcoming.This home was absolutely perfect for a large family. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, gather together, and truly enjoy our time. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, spacious, and peaceful oceanfront getaway. We will definitely be back. Don’t wait to book this place. Host was very helpful and answered questions prior to arrival. Overall this was an amazing vacation and the house was exceptional.

Beautiful home with the most beautiful beach as their backyard. The well appointed home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was so nice to just sit outside on the lanai and listen to the ocean waves while watching surfers catch those waves. We had a rare sighting of a monk seal that swam by while we were hanging on the beach. I think the location was great, pretty close to lots of restaurants and stores. Will definitely stay here again if/when we travel to Maui in the near future!

Loved the amazing view!

The view out the back was AMAZING! The main floor was great. The kitchen had everything we needed. The living area was clean & cozy. The lanai was our favorite place to be. The beds were comfortable. This is a condo/end unit. It's not a house. On the map it looks like a house.There are two beach chairs available for use. No umbrella, no beach toys nor water equipment like buggy boards or snorkel gear. You'll need to bring or purchase those. We were very sad to discover how much the community was affected by the Lahaina fires of 2023. 1/3 of it is gone, including 2 of 3 pools & the clubhouse. The map has not been updated. The view of breathtaking sunrises as well as the cleanliness/coziness of the condo made up for the lack of pools. The pickelball & tennis courts are still there so we enjoyed them quite a bit. We brought our own pickelball equipment. The owner & off-site manager are easy to work with. The on-site manager was so friendly, available & helpful.Overall, I'd stay here again:) It was hard to leave.

Tranquil Puamana

We had a fantastic time! The home is just as pictured, stocked with everything we needed, comfortable, and is the most oceanfront property we've stayed in. We enjoyed the beautiful grounds including a big oceanfront lawn area right next to their home. It took about 1/2 hour for us to notice the whales breaching just offshore and our first night, we could easily see the planets! We played tennis - which has views of the ocean and mountains, enjoyed the pool and our walks around the beach and property. In Lahina, there are some locations open and we dined at Star Noodle and Mala Tavern - both fantastic meals on the water's edge. Plus we had a nice visit to Kaanapali, but then returned to the tranquil Puamana neighborhood. We look forward to staying here again.

Our stay in Puamana -

My daughter, 2 nieces and my sister and I came to Maui to celebrate my sister’s 75th Birthday, which was on 8/8/23. The property that we stayed in was beautiful and perfect for our stay. However, on Tuesday night at 7:30 (8/8/23) we had to evacuate the property because of the fire in Lahiana. We stayed that night in our vehicles in the Walmart parking lot in Kahului and then had to find someplace else to stay after that, as nobody was allowed to return to Puamana or anywhere in Lahiana, as Lahiana had been destroyed by the fire. We were thankful to see in the aerial photos after the fire that the individual property that we had stayed in was still standing and looked untouched, even though others in the same development were totally destroyed. Our hearts go out to the people of Lahiana and Maui and pray for their complete recovery.

Paradise!!!!!

This property was sensational. It is more beautiful than the photos portray. It was immaculately clean, included small appliances, like hairdryer, blender, iron, etc. and included all kitchen items needed to prepare family meals. The large washer and dryer was a great perk for a family of six. The owner was very helpful in providing us with information regarding his home, the development, and nearby Lahaina prior to, and while staying during our vacation.

A perfect spot

This property was well maintained and could not be a better location. Easy access to the ocean and the beach at Puamana was among the best on the island. We highly recommend staying at this property. Right off the the south end of Front St. put us on the south end of Lahaina.if we could give more than 5 stars we would!

Island perfection

This property exceeded our expectations. The interior is beachy chic and instantly puts you in vacation mode. The kitchen is gorgeous with modern updates. Everything was organized, clean and easy to find. Beds were super comfy and sleeping was a dream with soundscape of the ocean. I could go on about how beautifully appointed the condo is but our favorite part was the location. It is very close to town and our favorite beaches. The lanai has a great sense of privacy and was our favorite place to relax and enjoy the serenity of the ocean. The beach is just steps away and never crowded like many other places on Maui. The pool was a wonderful surprise, we did not plan on spending much time there thinking the beaches would be the best spots, but this pool was so special. It’s positioned right over the ocean and you get a little sea spray at certain times. A wonderful place to watch the sunset. We spent many of our days exploring the island of Maui and had an amazing time, but looking back I wish we had just stayed at Puamana more and simply relaxed. It was the best part of our trip!

Great place to stay!

This beach house was fantastic. Very nice and updated, plenty of space, and great views. My son and I tried surfing for the first time (boards not included), and we were able to do it right out in front of the beach house. Very close to main Lahaina, so easy to go shopping, or out to eat, or even to the docks to go out fishing. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had while we were there as well. Had a fabulous time! Mahalo!

Great Place to Stay

Puamana is fantastic and so is this unit. We did not use the AC once: left the door open and the screen shot and slept with the nursing sound of the ocean. The view is unparalleled: just sit down at the living room or in the varanda (upstairs or downstairs) and watch the sunset right in front of you. The unit is well stocked, charming, and comfortable. In hindsight, we wished we had booked more days. We hope to return soon.

Maui Family Paddle Out

Conveniently located to Lahaina ! Easy 15 minute walk to the Banyan tree and Lahaina harbor...Front Street is a family favorite to visit in Maui and we were steps away outside the main gate or out the pedestrian gate. Property is definitely family friendly. 136-1 was clean and spacious. Loved listening to the surf outside our window. Would recommend to other friends and family and a good place to stay. Thanks for the Aloha! Our Ohana enjoyed!

Amazing beachfront house

Our group of 3 adult couples loved the place! We spent so much time on the lanai (patio) where we had a wide view of the ocean and nearby islands. We watched nearly every sunrise and sunset, and spent a lot of time in the ocean right outside the house. Amazing, would definitely stay again!

Family Vacation

The property is fabulous! With the stunning view of the ocean and the beach right out front, it doesn't get any better than this. Lahaina is a nice little walk or a short drive away. The unit itself has everything you need to stay in and cook or just hang out and enjoy the beach. This includes a washer and dryer to wash all your dirty beach towels. All of the restaurant recommendations were awesome and did not disappoint. If you didn't want to explore the Island, you could be perfectly happy just hanging out in this unit. I would recommend it to anyone!

Adult kids and Aunt visit to Maui

This trip started in Oahu as our 86 year old Aunt requested a trip to Pearl Harbor on her bucket list. We wanted to add a stay in Maui, as we had been there before and loved it. We brought our two adult sons, and our daughter in-law. It was our first "family trip" in many years. We wanted to spoil them and find a great spot, on the beach. This property didn't disappoint. The pictures and description are accurate and as described. You will find yourself on the shoreline, listening to and watching the waves roll in. You can see the sunrise to the east, and set in the west. There are two islands visible directly to the south. We spent much time swimming in the surf and watching others surfboard. At night, we were able to open the doors and let the sound of the surf spread through the condo unit. The interior is premium quality. The HOA (homeowner's association) has lots of rules, but it helps to keep the neighborhood quiet and peaceful. If I plan to return to Maui, I will definitely hope to find this property available. You won't regret staying here. In fact, you will likely find yourself wondering how lucky you were to book such a spectacular property, right on the beach in a fairly private spot. It will be hard to beat.

Oceanfront Dream

This magical ocean front property made our visit to Maui an incredible experience. Very comfortable with all the amenities you could ask for. The need to stock up on anything other than food and drinks gave us more time to enjoy the island. We will without a doubt be choosing this property the next time we return.

Paradise

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in Puamana. The view from the patio / lanai will stay with us forever. Simply breath-taking. The home is very clean and comfortable and is in a very good location - just a 1 mile walk to the center of town. The beach is quite a hike though - kidding! It's only 30 feet from the patio. Communication with the property managers was extremely quick and helpful. We'd definitely stay here again.
