“We stayed 2 nights as a group of 6 in the bunk barn. The room was full of mould. The bunk barn doenst peovide enough space for 6 people and very little space to store belongings. Mould can cause serious risk to health when inhaled and given we had people with asthma in our group its a blessing it didnt cause and harm at this time. The female bathroom was infested in flies. “Regrettably our room number 6. Did not smell nice. It had the smell of old wet trainers. We did mention it and a room diffuser was turned on. Some of the fixtures and fitting were falling apart. The shower was head was not appropriate for the size of the shower causing flooding. The staff were lovely and theroom was clean.”

“What a beautiful property finished to a very high standard of decor. Property was spotless, food was excellent and the owner's such lovely friendly people. Secure car parking for the time spent there. Would definitely recommend the Melrose guest house.”
