“Great weekend at this house. Very clean.”

“The space was well appointed and needed items such as paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap and dishwasher tablets were all there. Family Fare grocery store is across the street for any foods items I needed. There was only one small ice tray, so buying bagged ice is required. Additional trays would have been nice. There is no outdoor space for sitting outside. Parking is very limited. A sign in the unit would be worthwhile to indicate where parking is allowed. Overall I enjoyed my stay.”

“Location was great, a short walk to downtown and the waterfront. The rental was not particularly clean and was probably rushed to market after a low effort flip. Faucets and bath fixtures are not properly installed, door handles are not mounted correctly, light fixtures are limited and its often the equivalent of a plain bulb in the ceiling. Glass top range has not been properly cleaned, and has a crusty brown coating on each burner. Trim was roughly painted, just one of many details...

“Great location. Great communication. Clean. Would stay here again.”

“It really is a cozy home on a beautiful lot. Great views of the farmlands!”

“Victorian duplex in a convenient location. Beautiful floors and original (steep) staircase. Needed some basic upkeep but that’s not that big of a deal. Cleanliness was just ok. The issue is when the listing reads two bathrooms with a shower in each, yet there is only one tiny shower, that was very disappointing. Sent a message and the response was that it’s listed correctly. And then asked if there was something that they could do… not sure how to respond to that. Nothing that can be done. And...

“The property was very clean and well supplied. However, the upper unit has very low and angled ceilings and it is not possible to get out of bed and stand up, for example. Although the unit is updated, it still feels dated. For over 500 per night this was very overpriced.”

“Thank you so much for the accommodations. We had a great day. We will be back. Thanks again.!!”

“Our stay in Elk Rapids was wonderful, clean, and cozy! The location is perfect—easily within walking distance to town (under a mile) and right across the street from Bass Lake, where we loved playing cards by the water. The town is incredibly kid- and dog-friendly. We walked to the free Monday night movies, the Wednesday street vendor market, and the Friday morning farmers market. Short’s Brewing is only a half-mile walk for great beer and food trucks, and there are three beaches within a...

“I would stay here again. It was super clean, comfortable and well appointed. The location was quiet and centrally located to the places we wanted to go. The host was responsive to communications. We were pleased!”
