“It was a great place to stay. Although, The pictures of lake front was misleading. We did not know where to go. It was definitely not located lake view as was described. Also did not know it was located in the actual lodge. Close to everything. Clean, well kept and very peaceful. Would consider coming back. Just need to choose better when looking for beach access/lake view.”

We decided to spend a couple of nights in Northstar Village in early October, and the condo was fantastic—clean, comfortable, well-kept, and exactly as described. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.The only surprise was that most of the village was closed for the season. We were able to grab coffee and breakfast to go in the mornings, but for dinner, the only option open was the pizza place. We ended up...

“A nice and more affordable option for those visiting North Lake Tahoe. The Granlibakken has an old-school Tahoe vibe, which can be both charming and dated. This particular room, while checking all the boxes, definitely has a bit of "staying the night at Grandma's house) vibe. Furniture is fully functional, but could use an upgrade. Overall, would stay again for the price, but would enjoy it more with a little refresh.”

“Loved the hot tub. Everything was great except we couldn't get all of the televisions to work, but no big deal. It was very comfy and clean. They had everything we could have needed! Would recommend!”
