“We loved the character of the boat shed. Good fire wood supply, and panel heaters, kept the house cosy and warm. Beds were comfortable. Freya was very easy to communicate with. We were very appreciative of the late check out. We would happily stay again, a beautiful spot looking over the lake.”

“Such a beautifully presented and spectacularly located holiday home. We had a fantastic time and some much needed rest and relaxation. Communication was fantastic including excellent suggestions of things to do in the area. We were greatful for the extra duvets on the bed and fireplace, as the weather was colder than we are used to. Thanks again, Claire and family”

"Okay hotel near the center. Only minus is the breakfast - or the lack thereof. There's breakfast but is quite poor. Both in terms of the food but also in terms of the area in which it's served. The rest of the hotel is quite nice with a small pool for the kids."

Great location and hotel
"Right next to the famous Lake Rotorua with short boardwalk and playground. Short walk will take you to city center. Nice hotel with Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Free parking. We recommend!"
