The home was exactly as advertised. Bedrooms were large and beds were very comfortable. One of my daughters has a bad back and she was in heaven.Downstairs was open and fit the whole family. Together, we could cook in the kitchen, sit at the table or on the couch and watch the World Cup. House was very clean as were the backyard and grounds. Pool was wonderful. Escaped the heat and lounged the day away in the pool. Lake is very close as are stores. We all had a great time and will look to return again.

Quiet and Comfortable

We had a bachelor party here and it was delightful, it was a big place that housed 9 of us comfortably, enough amenities that kept us entertained and relaxed, quiet and far enough from neighbors that we weren’t bothering anyone. It was a lovely stay!

We had a lovely Christmas stay. The cabin was beautiful, cozy, and well stocked with all the necessities for our family. The host was very attentive and reached out right away when there was a power issue to make sure we were taken care of. We felt well supported and comfortable throughout our stay. The only thing missing was a little Christmas Snow We would absolutely stay here again.

This property was eveything we thought it would be and more. Quiet and somewhat isolated yet close to town and Redding. Everyday we used the pool and it brought so much joy. The sitting areas outside are great, no skimping there, we used the bbq and it was great. The log cabin feel was something you can't find much of these days. The getting there was easy peasy. The place was so clean and well stocked, the spices were plentiful. Having a refrig that dispensed cold water was great for the kids. Games galore, DVD's for miles. The game room did not disappoint. Nothing was disappointing at this wonderful spot. It is a do-over for us next year.

Lakehead Getaway

The home, pool and wooded setting was so peaceful and relaxing. The home was spacious and comfortable with plenty of seating. The pool was amazing. Swimming in a private pool in the woods set the stage for the whole vacation. Unique, cozy and relaxing sums it up. One of the best family rentals we have stayed in.

Annual "sisters get together"

The house is amazing! The privacy undeniable! There was a problem with carbon monoxide in the upstairs bedroom but as long as the door was open it was fine. They are working on getting that fixed. Other than that it was the perfect stay and we hope to return
