“We had the most amazing stay at Shasta Lakeshore Resort 4th of July week. Our family has been visiting Lake Shasta since I was a child, from camping to houseboat trips, so this area is very special to us. The house exceeded our expectations—it was updated, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication was perfect, with clear directions and everything we needed to know before and during our visit. It’s clear the owners and property management truly care, and...

“We had such a wonderful experience at Shasta Lakeshore Retreats the first time that we knew we had to come back—and our second stay exceeded our expectations once again. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the peaceful setting on the lake makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and it’s clear they take pride in creating a great experience for their guests. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already reserved another...

“The home was exactly as advertised. Bedrooms were large and beds were very comfortable. One of my daughters has a bad back and she was in heaven.Downstairs was open and fit the whole family. Together, we could cook in the kitchen, sit at the table or on the couch and watch the World Cup. House was very clean as were the backyard and grounds. Pool was wonderful. Escaped the heat and lounged the day away in the pool. Lake is very close as are stores. We all had a great time and will look to...

“Place was clean and clearly a little cottage which was sweet but bathroom could be a little nicer. Kitchen was great and porch was lovely.”

“Beautiful and cosy cottage in peaceful Dunsmuir. Warmer and quieter than Mt Shasta! Loved the comfortable bed, spacious living area and well-equipped kitchen. Easy 15-minute drive to Mt Shasta, Lake Siskiyou, Castle Crags etc. Highly recommended!”

“This was a great stopover on our road trip. Very comfortable and super clean. There’s even a little play structure that they let our kids use. They include mattress toppers for the sofa beds, which was a much appreciated touch.”

“Wonderfully funky property. Perfect for two travelers. Well stocked kitchen, good washer and dryer, good shower with grab bars ( rare in many accomodations!), terrific location. Can crawl to and from the brewpub. Friendly town.”

“We very much enjoyed our short stay! The home was very cute and cozy and we highly recommend!”

“My husband, fur baby and I had a wonderful stay. The bungalow is super cute with great decor and amenities. We enjoyed the sunroom immensely especially our pup. It’s the perfect location to get to all the great hikes and lakes. We’ll be back.”

“This apartment was spacious and lovely. Outside we sat on a delightful patio overlooking the lush ravine and watched the sunset. The grounds were nice and It was a short walk to the Sacramento river trail, which does go along the river. We walked all the way across a bridge into a cute park, about a half hour walk. We would stay here again.”

“Just what we needed”
