“The owners met us on arrival and gave us a tour showed us how to work the heater where to find things they were just amazing! They gave us our pin to mark our home on the map of all of their visitors and then brought us eggs and waffles in the morning made fresh from there free range chickens.”

“The parking was slightly confusing but we didn't end up having any issues. We were under the impression this would be more of an entire house with a kitchen, the pictures are deceiving. It is just a room. It was still great for our needs. The bed was comfortable and we just loved the bathroom! There weren't any towels when we arrived so we weren't able to shower after hiking all day but when we woke up there were some outside our door. We did book very last minute. “The Finegold Nugget provided delightful, well-appointed accomodations (more than expected, with the assortment of dishes and flatware also provided). Beautiful room and beautiful grounds. We had a very relaxing weekend, which was the goal! If I had any complaint, it might be that the mini-fridge in the room was more mini than I was expecting. We filled it up! And as a suggestion, possibly get some mini ice trays to put in the freezer so the guests could have ice available if they wished. ...

“This is the second time we come to this peaceful house. And we plan to continue coming back in the future when we visit Kings Canyon National Park. The house is clean, comfortable and very quiet. We enjoyed spending time in the backyard playing board games at the end of our hikes. In the morning we enjoyed a cup of coffee while listening to the birds. Noah, the host, was always helpful and responded right away. He was very kind. This is one of the best houses we have stayed in our hiking...

“We had a great time at this house! The hosts responded right away to messages. Everything was clean and well equiped. The living area and kitchen were spacious. It was a pleasure to be able to cook together, eat around a big table, & watch the game on TV. On top of that there was pool, ping pong and a hot tub large enough for an even bigger group than ours. And YES the sunset was gorgeous. We hiked next to two beautiful rivers each only 10 minutes away. We will happily come back.”
